Milk & Cookies for Santa
This is for all my Santas up late on Christmas Eve. It tastes like brown butter chocolate chip cookies dipped in milk & might possibly be my favorite dessert drinks of the year.
You’ll need:
• 1.5 oz half & half (or milk of your choice)
• 1.5 oz vanilla vodka (see instructions below)
•3/4 oz brown sugar simple (see instructions below)
• 1/4 oz butterscotch liqueur
• Dash of salt
•dark chocolate syrup
• Chocolate shavings
Method:
Prepare your glass by rimming the glass with chocolate syrup. Dip into chocolate shavings and set aside. In a shaker, combine half & half, vodka, salt, butterscotch liqueur, and brown sugar simple. Shake for 10 seconds. Strain into prepped glass and garnish with a red & white straw.
Vanilla Vodka
Soak one vanilla bean in two cups of vodka for 3 days. Store out of direct sunlight in a cool dry place.
Brown Sugar Simple
Bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add 1 cup of brown sugar, stirring until dissolved. Let cool and store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
