It’s embarkation day! My longest vlog ever starts at my home in the UK as I welcome you back to the Disney Cruise vlogs and share some information about the Disney Cruise we’ll be featuring in this super long vlog. After a drive down to Southamption, England, we drop the car at Penguin Parking near the port. We’re then shuttled to the Queen Elizabeth II terminal and dropped off just in-front of check-in.

As we’re travelling in concierge, we had an open arrival window and were automatically assigned to boarding group 1. This meant we could be some of the first guests to go through the embarkation process and board as soon as the gangway opened. There we went up the gangway, to be welcomed aboard into the atrium on Deck 3. Once onboard, the cast members clapped us onboard and we start touring the ship.

Our first stop was Deck 12 and 13 for a little look at the view of Southampton, and for a picture in front of the famous DCL funnels. Then, we visited the Youth Activities, before settling into the concierge welcome lunch. It was then to our concierge stateroom for a room tour! This stateroom can sleep up to five guests, features split bathrooms, minibar, sofa, wardrobe, verandah, TV, one queen bed, one sofa bed and one single (pull down) bed. We were welcomed with a bowl of fruit, our castaway club gifts and the famous British weather.

Also featured in the MEGA VLOG are lunch and dinner at Royal Palace, dinner at Palo, dinner at Enchanted Garden and what’s on offer in the concierge lounge throughout the day. We tour the concierge sundeck, meet Captain Mickey and Minnie Mouse at the ‘Say Cheese’ event. We see the new 25th Anniversary fireworks at sea show, Gary dresses as TikTok Crocodile for pirate night and we get the chance to enjoy the Skyline Lounge, Cove Cafe and more.

In La Rochelle, we show you a bit of the port-day experience, with shuttles to the main town and a lot of SORTIE! We grab a croissant each and a baguette to share, whilst wandering down to the famous towers and absorbing the French vibes.
