SOUR CREAM BANANA BREAD RECIPE w/ Walnuts & Chocolate Chips – Thrifty Recipes

INGREDIENTS:
CREAM:
1 cup mashed banana (1-2 bananas)
1/2 cup butter (1 stick softened)
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1 tsp. Vanilla
Mix/Add DRY INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 cup nuts (optional: walnuts or pecans)
Optional: 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
INSTRUCTIONS IN VIDEO: Bake 350 deg. 1 hour in greased bread loaf pan

  1. I am totally blind. I love your video. In fact I made banana bread today and when I heard your video I was thinking wow, I wish I could've tried that sour cream. Mine came out OK but I would love to try it and I hope you keep doing videos like this. There may be a few of us totally blind cooks out here, but we are out here and we do appreciate videos that are not chess music and we appreciate the descriptions and I had to tell you thank you and million times

  2. I understand because there's not too many of us out here to bake and listen to YouTube. But as I said before, we are out here. Remember also if you want to gain more people try to put your channel to more people. So one of the things that I will tell you, for diabetics they have swerve confectioners sugar. They also have granulated sugar and brown sugar so like when you're doing a recipe, maybe you could mention look for sewer or erythritol sweetener if you're a diabetic. Wow, they would be shocked you know that. I never heard it, I had to do my own research and it was because I had the sleeve which is a surgery to lose weight. So remember, a Ritz a tour or swerve sweetener. I guess you could use Splenda too. But swerve has no aftertaste and it's equal. So one cup of swerve granulated sugar is 1 cup of white granulated sugar that's why I thought about that because it's easier for you splendor is three times or 300 times sweeter than sugar

  3. My Mother was English( England) ,I have been making quick breads for 60 years,and was always taught to fold my bread batter,never mix it.But,I see most online use a mixer,and seems to turn out just fine! I do think you get more cracking on top of loaf.

  5. bananas could be much more ripened,dark brown, this is not rotten, only ripe…much more increased intense banana flavor my mom put bananas in a drawer to speed up ripe proccess…
