How to Make Cinnamon-Sugar Pull Apart Bread at Home!

This video will show you how to make delicious cinnamon-sugar pull apart (also called elephant ear) bread! Here are the ingredients!

For the dough:
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 envelope active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 stick butter
1/3 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs, whisked together

For the filling:
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup melted butter

**I accidentally said 3/4 cup of sugar in the video, I was adding the remaining flour. I also added the vanilla while the milk and butter mixture was cooling**

  1. I used whole wheat flour and mine did not turn out the way it should have after I added the milk and butter, and then the eggs. I don't know what happened because I did everything right.

  2. whole wheat flour has a completely different makeup than all purpose flour. I am not sure if that is what affected the bread. what was the problem with it? did it all rise correctly?

  3. Hi! I am sorry I have been radio silent lately! I am finishing my college degree and have been remarkably busy. I am hoping to make more videos in the future but for now I am trying to concentrate on my studies. Thank you for your kind words!
