OATMEAL CHOC CHIP COOKIES
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temp)1/3 cup granulated sugar 2/3 cup brown sugar1 tsp vanilla (optional)1 large egg1 1/2 cups rolled oats (instant oats ate fine too)1 cup chocolate chips or chocolate chunks
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. Combine dry ingredients except for chocolate chips/chunks. Give it a good mix then set aside.
3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla, if using.
4. Mix in dry ingredients.
5. Add in chocolate chips/chunks (I personally prefer to mix them by hand for better distribution.)
4. Scoop and bake on parchment-lined sheets for 10–12 mins.
