All right, it’s officially holiday season, so we’re going to get right into some Halloween recipes. They’re already decorating down the street. Uh the weather’s cooled down. It’s going to be awesome. We’re doing uh pumpkin rice krispie treats. It’s going to be awesome. Never done these before. So, we’re going to prep everything first and then we’re going to put it all together because you got to do it all while it’s warm. All right. [Music] Rice Krispie treats. Obviously, it’s Rice Krispies, marshmallows, Tootsie Rolls, food coloring, and fruit by the foot. I’m going to be cutting out the green out of this cuz they don’t make green fruit by the foot. You got to get one that has green in it and cut your leaves out of the fruit by the foot. So, let’s get everything prepped and then we’ll start cooking it all. All right. First thing we’re going to do is unwrap a a Tootsie Roll. And we want to make our stems about that long. All right. So, I’m going to cut out the green section here. So, I’m probably going to There we go. That’s I’m going to cut my leaves out like that. See, that’ll work. All right. So, we’re doing the red food coloring first. So, you want about four drops worth. I don’t even know what that looks like. There we go. It’s probably more than four drops worth right there. And then a little bit of yellow into it. Whoops. Okay, time to melt our butter in a big saucepan on a low flame. All right, butter’s all melted. We’re going to dump the marshmallows in. Once you get all the marshmallows melted, turn the heat off and take it off the heat. Get the food coloring in here. See how it looks. All right. I’m going to put a little more yellow in here. Okay. Well, I’d say that’s orange. Now, we got it to the color we wanted. Just play with the colors as you need. Okay. Let’s get the Rice Krispie treats in. We kind of want to work fast with this. So, let’s get let’s get it going over at the table. Here’s a little tip. Take your hand little non-stick spray or canola spray on your fingertips. get them all rubbed together so you can work with this. So, I’m going to form a ball of Rice Krispie treats. Like that. Can you see that? There we go. There we go. Like that. Like that. Right. And then I’m going to take my little leaf that I cut out earlier and I’m going to place it right right in there and just let it lay down and stick to the stick to the thing. Wow, that went together. Whoops. Spoke too soon. That went together nice and easy. So, that’s one pumpkin. These are coming out better because I’m pressing them harder together. So, let me show you one more time. So, you spray spray your hand, right? You take a grip of them like this and crunch them together. They They do so much better if you crunch them together. I wasn’t doing that on the first few, so going to make a few more now. It’ll look even better. See how it looks? Look at that. Okay, guys. There it is. Pumpkin Rice Krispie treats for Halloween. Super easy. If I can do it, anybody can do it. Let’s give it a try. Okay, before we try this, uh, what are you doing for Halloween? Do you know? Uh, I don’t know. I may dress up. I may chill. I don’t know. It’s whatever my friends and I plan to do. We’ll decide like a day prior because you know that’s pretty much how it works, right? I used to see him last year. Hey, what are we doing? I don’t know. When’s Halloween? Tonight. Do you remember that? Yeah. I bought a mask and tore up a shirt so I could be Jason. Oh, yeah. I remember that. Okay. You ready to try these now? Yep. Cool stuff Jack! Very colourful!
When you poured the red food coloring I was like, "THAT'S SO MUCH MORE THAN YOU NEED!" It all worked out, though.
Pretty neat stuff there Jack.
That is well used pot jack
These look really good, but not into rice krispies.
OMG I just watched a Cemetery Cake video from 2011 of yours and laughed my butt off with how young Jack Jr was and how squeaky his voice was… lol epic. Think I might pick up the ingredients and make this one over the weekend.
This looks like a great Nerdy Nummies recipe for Rosanna Pansino.
They turned out great and honestly the little extra red you used made them look better than most of them I have seen usually they are pale so good job on the little goof. Rice Krispy treats never last long in our house they are a family favorite so thanks for the cute tutorial.
You could also make tour own green fruit in your dehydrator.
How old is jack junior
They make green fruit roll ups
use fruit roll ups
I'm going to put a bit of pumpkin spice in to flavor the rice krispies
They do make green fruit roll ups.
You can also roll out watermelon Airheads or Laffy Taffy to make the leaves
I love your holiday vids!
