I met you so it would be like an hour, hour and a half. ago, you had a totally different outfit on, yeah? Yeah. Costume chains, you know, like. So I’m assuming everything you have on you purchased, yeah? Well, almost everything. Yes, this I came with the boots I came with, which are amazing they’ vintage. They’re like from vintage, like m in Taiwan kind of campus wanted me. I found them onoshhmore, actually. and I just love that banana yellow, you know, fried black color, and this is a vintage piece that I got, I don’t know on this no, I got this in Brooklyn. It’s a while back, but this little um T shirt I got, and it’s from old Terry, like towels and things. and I just have my name on it. and these jeans I got from these are noble vintage. she’s in here, but these are handmade, like these are one of a kind. there’s no label. Somebody actually made these, and I just think I mean, I wanted a really like I went here with in my mind looking for a paraden like this, like thin, comfy, cut, lightweight, and I absolutely am a big fan of the patch pocket. so this checked a lot of like like a 70s vibe that you’re doing today, right? always. Not today, always. basketball. I know you just told me about this, but shout out the person you got it from. Yes, her name is Don from California, Don by the Bay. And what’s her Instagram? It’sawn by the Bay., she’s amazing.. I tell about the hat up here. And this is my friend, Sarah from not plain or tall. She d died this yarn herself, with another woman. I can’t remember the other woman’s name, but another artist, she went like, actually, so she knits all of this, all one of a kind. The pompomms are interchangeable, so I actually got a hot pink pompom to put on here, but I didn’t wear that one too.s here. Yeah, so these are mine. I do all this jewelry that I’m wearing. Free people carries my poppy earring. neck? This I did, yeah, this is my, you know. Yeah, these are my rings. This is cast resin with cast silver bands. This is um like a resin cut out as well. yeah. That’s it, yes. So just indulge us a little bit. What what did you have on before? Like, for the audience, obviously I know, right? Well, let me show you. Thank you. And uh the colors are just great. I just got this piece in Brooklyn. And I thought it was like Emilio I doesn’t have a poocci label, and the price wasn’t poocci. It was like 150, so. I feel like it probably wasn’t poochie. But I had it on with this vest. and the boots and this, and it looked great. um I it’s like super comfortable, just easy to wear. or just ajust to try stuff on, or have a classroom change midow.. And you know what? I’ve actually I learned something from you today, just watching you like, you know, shop shop up a storm in here, right? Like, you were wearing a leotard? Yes. That’s the key. I’d never seen anybody do that, but such a brilliant idea. Yeah, everybody was commenting on that. I have this free people that lots of free people. green, like, you know, it’s like a nylon stretchy kind of body suit that is great to wear on so many pieces, but for this, yes, because it’s actually a little short, you slipping all the 100%, so you’re like when you know, love it. So I know you you talk a lot about, you know, having jewelry and so I’m assuming you’re a jewelry designer? I am a jewelry designer and a clothing designer. Okay. So I do do a lot of um pieces like this, statement rings, big earrings, lots of necklaces. This piece is mine also that I’m wearing with the enamel. I do a lot of enamel copper. Can you see the little thunderbolt on there? absolutely. Is that is turquoise? It’s real turquoise and enamel. and I just did a whole series of uh I did like a sunny and Cher thing and I made a whole outphit for Cher, and I did all this turquoise jewelry for Cher, so if you check out my Instagram, you’ll see the Sunny and Cher and all the clothing pieces that I made for that. I made a whole deer skin. this like your whole 70s vibe in it, yeah, but guess what? when I saw you, I knew by the way you were created, yeah..olutely. Well, I’m I’m in the style icon contest, so you can vote for me if you go to the link for the style icon. I’m in the lead, so it’s really in my pocket… if you’re watching scan the TV. you and she’s already number one, but what is Elton John? It is for his rocket man, so. Thank you so much, so let’s wait the fit. scale a one toen how would you today’ I think it’s a 10. I mean, this is just like this is so comfortable, it’s like, I could take this off and it’s just this brings it up to a whole level. one 10 to another. Thank you so much. before I let you go for anybody that wants some of that jewelry you making, shit Instagram with me. Yes, so it’s atm Michelle Duran. and it’s also at Free people, so if you go to Free people, you’ll see my pieces on there, you could buy right online, but you can also buy on my website, heldder and jewelry.com. URI? It’s DA capital R and Drin. Sheldrin. so much I appreciate that. Yeah, and shout out to Manhattan vintage. to the whole and to you, so nice to meet you. Thank you so much, peace to you. And how about my husband? There you go thanks Pete. Thank you thank you. BTS guy man. Thank you so much peace of you guys. I got this, you too, take care. Thank you. Okay. My name is Supura Solomon. I am originally from Israel, but I live in New York and LA and soon Israel again. here. So everybody’s bringing the fall colors in today. Yeah, you we got the memo you and yes, we did.. So I knew it was fall. I knew I’d be on the bike. I knew I’d need layers. So, okay, to look at this wonderful back. This is the real deal. It’s probably from the 1800s. It’s amazing. What is this? I think straw is wovenven. I mean, very very tight, very right. like this is me a museum piece.. So we’re gonna put it down. it’s gonna fall, so I’m gonna put it on the floor. Okay, so there’ go anywhere. Okay. this is fisherman’s pants. I Thai fishermen. vintage. I have no idea where I’ 15, but not 50. But you can see faded a little bit. this is just fabulous. Japanese, I don’t know. who knows when? I don’t know, no labor. and this one. What is this theape? No, this is aumber 30s and it’s a Japanese firemen’s So, these coats okay, look at this. This is amazing, because what’s in. fric have like a Japanese soil today, yeah? Yes, very Japanese. So the fabric of this, let me just tell you, it’s a type of cotton that holds onto water. firemen would take the bucket, wet themselves so that when they ran through the houses, they were wooden if something fell on them, it wouldn’t burn. And usually you find them with with stains where, you know, they’ve been burned. So it’s very rare to find them. And I’ve never seen one in this cold. You should be like in this dark in the gold blue, right? blue or also black. I have a black with red stripe. Maybe I’ll wear that tomorrow. And then the shoes, I can’t remember, I think I had them like 40 years. And the sau now you the what is it forest, green water? It’s a lot of cardigan under there. Oh, just vintage cashmere. and on the top here? Who knows, but isn’t it the best? There’s no label? There’s no label, it’s felt, and that’s corduroy. There’s no label, there’s no. and there it is you have more? I surprise. But then I can bike. Oh, there you go. Yeah. Oh. yeah. I I feel like Bill Cunningham like hatured you, no, we miss Bill. That’s why Bill loved me because we are both bikers. and, you know, I make my wardrobe work for me because I’m a biker. I consider it. because I have to take that into consideration that it has to work on a bike, so it has to be fairly sturdy. I’ve known to ruin a few things. Absolutely. So, what what was the inspiration behind, like, all these autumn colors and the Japanese silhouette today? Well, I knew it’s one of my I haven’t worn it this season yet. It’s one of my best. and I knew it would be a big hit for an audience that would appreciate all these layers and texts. You know, if if sometimes if I’m let say on the upper west side, a lot of people don’t get this and kind of elbow each other and say, take a look at her. here, I know that people and they do, and they come up to me and you know, I’m kind of you know, Well, you’re the teacher all the styles, yes. Yeah, well, I kind of you know, day one, when I came home from school, first grade, I said to my parents, I’m gonna be at school teacher. and I was, I was a high school English teacher. But now I get to teach style, which is what I do best. And the reason I’m so good at it is because papa was a tailor. Mama was a dressmaker, they were Hungarian Jews, they were holocaust survivors, yes, the holocaust happened. Their family, my grandparents, aunts and uncles were slaughtered in Auschitz. My father seowed the Nazi uniforms. That’s how he survived.. a great so when I was literally so after the camps, they married there and then moved to Israel where I was born. So as a baby, I’m sleeping. minding my own cousin.. I wake up to clothes. I go to sleep, wake up tomorrow clothes. And it’s clothes that they measured for me. I measured on me at all stages, right?. And my mother not just could sew, but she could knit crochet and embroider, so I would have the onesie, and she’d make the little hat to go with it. and then she could work in velvet. She can work in cray paper, for God sake, she could embroider, she could knit little accordion perk. And Papa wasn’t going to be outdone by Mama, so he made me a little boy, so he made the boy’ clothes, so I wore a boy’s pants and ties and toler culture. I was equally comfortable. I’m glad you bring that in because you know what I’ve noticed about your style now that you because yeah, and it has like masculine every single time every single time. I am always a drogen. I’m always a little boy little girl. you. And so the ball was raised very high. Now, that would have been high enough, but God wanted a thoroughbred to listen to this story. My father came from a family of 10 children. Five survives, five didn’t. His favorite sister who went through Arid, so she has the number. She ended up in New York only because a cousin was willing to sponsor her because you couldn’t just come in. Somebody had to sponsor you, so there was a cousin in Queens Long Island who sponsored my gorgeous aunt D daughter Yoli. And then one month or one week, there was a Jewish dance one day one night in Manhattan and my beautiful daughter Yoli, who was a very skilled seamstress in her own right, she went to the dance and a rich Texan was in town. He took one look at my aunt and said, I like you. And he was the vice president of naming Marcus. So, you know, when she heard that her favorite brother is alive and has two little girls, she went shopping and she didn’t have to look at the price tax. So from day one, I had on my back the best clothes that a man she could make. Kouture clothes, couture, for sure. and the best clothes that money could buy. So the bar was from day one. from one. Thank you for theist lesson and these beautiful stories. But more importantly, let’s get to the rating. The rating.s the how you? So you know, it actually waited nine because it has another letterer that I couldn’t find over this. I wear a vest that picks tie dye with these colors. I’m. I’m a p. I love it. And before I let you go, I Instagram with me. Support so Sepora soom the way you spelled Sepora is tears and Tom. Z is in zebra, I as in Isaac, PS Peter, O is Oo R is Robert, A is Apple H’s house and then Solomon S A L A M O N. Thank you. bless you. Thank you so much for that. Take care. Bye. Well, thank you so much for watching the full episode. Thank you so much for watching all the way to the end. you guys are the real ones. If you watched until this point coming below double peas for Pppy P. you so much. 1. Sorry but this is another lazy content from you. It feels inauthentic. You are basically standing outside a venue or a vintage market and speaking to attendees. 3 times on the show, 2 times on the show. Yaaawn…Go and find REAL, interesting, well dressed regular people.

  2. ❤❤❤❤everyone very nice fashion ❤❤❤❤❤❤marina very pretty eveyones a 10 ❤❤❤❤❤how good you interview everyone love the purses 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉ty for sharing..🎉

  3. I love Rebecca's extravagant mix match in colours and textiles that jacket is hard and she just put me on this Danner flex😮

  4. What a thrill to learn so much about Tziporah Salamon. It was exhilarating to hear her talk about style and fashion!

  5. The last Lady with the amazing Japanese clothes was incredible! What an interesting story. I love the way you are interested in them as people and the questions you ask. Thanks Pete! xoxo

  6. I try to dress everyday while thinking: would Preppy Pete stop me if i were in New York? (I'm not though, I live in the Netherlands were fashion is very very boring in general).

  7. The privileged are showing off their luxury name brands that are made in sweat shoos by child slave labor and in total could feed an actual struggling American family for a year

  8. sometimes it's not all about the fits for me …. it's the small conversations and tangents about life. They be hittin different sometimes 💟☮️♾️

  9. Love how respectful Preppy Pete is, even when faced with some people who are very into themselves so to speak. I appreciate seeing the inventiveness of the people you find!

  10. I followed KarenBritChic for years but she stopped making videos and this is the next best channel😁

  11. God bless the last woman you interviewed. What a storyteller! She has incredible style and a beautiful spirit. Love your series — you do a great job!🙏🏾✌🏾

  12. Are they getting this creative about saving our (albeit imperfect) democracy? Otherwise, this is giving Hunger Games Capitol city, I'm afraid.

  13. Love these videos! May I humbly suggested for the camera to not go up and down so fast/jerky movements – it gives me (and maybe others) visual motion sickness. Peace & Love 💙💙💙
