[フィンランド料理] シナモンロールを作ってみた!(レシピ・作り方有り) || Making Finnish Cinnamon Rolls (eng sub)

Hello everyone! I’m Elisa Maria. On this channel I’ll talk about Finland and Japan from my perspective. If you think about famous Finnish foods, you might think cinnamon rolls. In Finnish they’re called “Korvapuusti” Today I thought we could make cinnamon rolls together! So let’s start! When I was a child… (it’s noisy outside) When I was a child, my mom would always make them but I’ve actually never made them by myself As a Finnish person it’s embarrassing I’ll try making them today for the first time I’ll put a recipe below so please follow that instead of my video. (Unfortunately this is not a cooking channel) So let’s start by washing our hands! I love this apartment but the kitchen is a little small If you want to cook something it’s a little small A few days ago a friend came over and we watched a movie, and there are still some sweets left I’m eating too much. I still have this too. It’s liquorice. There’s toffee and strawberry inside It’s really good To make cinnamon rolls you fill the dough with butter, cinnamon and sugar and roll it into a pastry. First you warm up the milk First is milk, or I’ll use oat milk. Is that a word? It’s milk made from oats I always use this instead of normal milk It’s normal in Finland but I wonder if they have it in Japan? It said to warm up the milk to hand temperature so I’ll try warming it up Warming… Warm… Warm up I’ll try warming it up Put in the yeast and mix it well while it melts Put an egg, sugar and cinnamon into a bowl and mix well Next mix it with the milk Add the flour little by little while mixing well And lastly, add in soft butter and mix If you think about cinnamon rolls, in Helsinki there’s a cafè called “Cafè Esplanad” that sells this famous cinnamon roll It’s this big It’s amazing. This big It’s really good If you come to Helsinki, I recommend that Maybe just a little bit and it’s done Maybe? If I mess up it’s going to be embarrassing Round up the dough until the surface is smooth Cover it with a cloth or plastic wrap and leave it for 20 minutes Okay so now we’ll wait 20 minutes Take the dough from the bowl and cut it in half on a table Roll the dough into a square using a rolling pin Butter up the dough And add a mix of sugar and cinnamon Use hands to roll the dough up and cut into smaller pieces Move them onto a baking tray and leave again for 10 minutes I was an idiot not using an apron (Please us an apron) 5分を展示します While you wait, coat the buns with an egg and add decorate with nib sugar Put into the oven and bake them for 10 minutes So, let’s wait for 10 minutes (10 minutes later) They’re done! (Let’s eat) So what did you think? I think you can find all ingredients in Japan as well, so please try them If I made you want to try them now, give me a Thumbs up And please subscribe to my channel if you haven’t yet I’m also on Instagram so please follow me there as well See you in the next video This was Elisa Maria. Bye bye!

Cinnamon Rolls are famous Finnish pastries, flavored with butter, sugar and cinnamon and decorated with nib sugar.
They are quite easy to make and very delicious!

As a Finnish person it’s embarrassing that I have never made them by myself, so I decided to try. However, if you decide to make them, please refer to a proper recipe instead of my video since I am not a chef. 😅 I hope you enjoy the video nevertheless!
