right now I’m going to let that set up now you can just use regular whole milk if you want you can use any milk if you want but the higher the fat the tastier this is going to be so that’s why I did towels and I mean rarely like an entire roll lasts me 6 months to a year so this is one of the things that I use paper towels for is to drain stuff that I fry which I don’t do that often okay now one of the best inventions ever my laser thermometer so I’m letting my oil get up to about 350° all right so I just had Jack Google it and it’s 350 to 375 so don’t freak out if you go a little bit over [Music] okay now I wasn’t recording when I showed you how to test if you don’t have a digital thermometer which I’ll link this one in the below but just stick your doughnut or your biscuit in and if it starts to sizzle that’s how you know your temperature is ready okay now we’re going to let these cool and then we’ll come back and fill them all right they have cooled off now I got these piping okay so now you’re going to take your doughnut and you’re going to put your piping tip about 3/4 of the way in and what I do is I kind of open it up in there and then I go back and forth so it gets the maximum amount of filling in Z donuts oh yum there we go okay there there’s one wellow actually I think I probably will now I have a son who has asked to have powdered sugar donuts by themselves so I’m leaving couple for him you want powdered sugar too yeah okay well I like the filling but which do you want filling or powdered sugar filling and powdered sugar oh you want filling and powdered sugar oh my you’re uh you’re a vanilla kind of a guy though you like vanilla don’t you yes will see the eyeball do you need a taste tester I need a taste tester except I realized I used sugarfree pudding instead of regular tastes delicious yeah you can definitely taste sugar-free but it’s still really good y sugar makes everything better it does [Music] 100% okay now if I would have filled all of these this would have been just about the right amount but since I have a couple of kids that want just powdered sugar I’m going to leave that and now we have our chocolate frosting and I’m going to frost and in just a moment I will have Mike taste test CU he’s the best taste tester man in the whole wide world Mike likes filled donuts and the handsomest taste tester man in the whole wide world you like filed Donuts I love filed Donuts my favorite is the Dunkin Donut and when they used to have the big cream poof on the top oh that was so good nowadays they don’t have the big cream poof on the top and it’s very [Music] sad okay so should we thumbnail before we cut since we only got five should we th before we cut into them all right I will let you thumbnail whatever you would like to do you want the stuff stick it out or yeah I think that kind of shows what it is but they out nice glass let’s try that [Music] do on the glass too that box is still downstairs yes can you tell Dave there’s Donuts while you’re down there [Music] Jack Donuts there’s the dut and is this the right I don’t know if that’s the right L the big guns oh wow look at that baby first of all the boys said a couple of these weren’t totally finished in the middle so what I would do is turn your heat down to 340 or so and um just cook them longer if you notice it’s happening okay Mr taste tester man best taste tester in the whole world it’s already cut M Boston cream mhm does it taste like Boston cream yes it really does this is delicious you’re going to start by turning your heat on medium heat and you’re going to heat your oil to [Music] 375° you can use the big biscuits or the little biscuits this recipe is in our dining on a dime cookbook volume one it’s been on our family for more than 50 years now my dad made this little doughnut hole cutter for my mom when they were first married and I still have it but if you want you can use a Teensy tiny biscuit cutter one of these thermometers works really well to check your [Music] temperature to prepare your powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar you can either put it on a plate like this and then dip your Donuts in it or you can place it in a paper sack like this and this is my favorite method and then I keep the paper sack with the powdered sugar and just reuse it every time I make donuts it’ll last months so this way you can shake your Donuts instead of just turning them in the in the powdered sugar and you don’t waste powdered sugar [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] oh mom you never fail a disappoint what do you think Jack sorry I can’t talk with my mou um disappoint oh good grief very very good very not disappointing very very good 10 out of 10 would recommend yay out of nine would recommend o what a compliment okay I can making some garlic p P apart bread now what I’m going to do is margarine is cheaper right now so I’m going to take a little bit of margarine and put it in my pan I would say probably a half a stick if you use a half a stick of marine or butter then I’m going to put this pan in my oven and let all the margarine melt all right while the margarine is melting I have these jumbo biscuits my family loves these woo [Music] and and then what I’m going to do is take my handy dandy little cutter and just oops cut these in quarters just like so [Applause] [Music] [Music] okay my butter is almost my margarine almost all melted I’ll give it just a minute more okay call that done now the reason why I did in the oven is cuz I already had my chicken in there roasting so you can do it in the microwave if you want all right and there we go then I’m going to take my garlic I don’t know half a teaspoon or so and mix that around then we’re just going to take our pieces of biscuit and just get it all wrapped around there yum all right now we’re going to put this back in the oven 400° okay and there is our garlic biscuits oh my goodness it smells so delicious yum wait did you just stick did you just sneak a bun so how’s it taste amazing I’m a garlic lover and it’s definitely garlicky air fryer Donuts the first thing you’re going to do is you’re going to start your air fryer preheating to 330° start right there okay so we’re preheating then we’re going to take our can of biscuits right here [Music] and we’re going to and you’re going to let it preheat for 5 minutes okay then we’re going to take our can of biscuits flop that baby open okay then while our air fryer is warming up preheating we’re going to take our biscuits and we’re going to put them like this and this and this and this then we’re going to take our biscuit cutter or hole cutter and cut out each section now if you don’t have a ho a biscuit cutter hole cutter whatever I got this set here of different biscuit Cutters but oops oops I didn’t mean to do that you can just make a hole like that okay now we’re going to let these rise just a little bit before they go into the air fryer about 5 to 6 minutes while your air fryer is heating up okay just went through all this not recording but so what I’ve got is my powdered sugar and some milk in here and I’m add a little more powdered sugar cuz it’s a little thin all right and then I added a little bit of vanilla [Music] flavoring mom was like I’m recording a video so let me go fry a hamburger you guys okay so my boys were just debating when is Valentine’s Day and none of my children know when Valentine’s Day is or at least the ones that are at my home at present I should say so you can tell they’re real worried about it none of them have girlfriends so they don’t need to be worried about it at the moment I guess all right there we go that is nice lovely frosting Okay so now look at that lovely we’re going to flip these over [Music] [Music] all right there we go yumo while they’re cooling I have a tray you do not have to do all this I just wanted the um glaze to drip off and my thing doesn’t stay level and then look at this lovely assortment of Valentine’s um sprinkles that I found aren’t those lovely found those at Wally World okay so here’s some cooler ones on the bottom so what we’re going to do is going to take our dut dip it in just like so get it all covered and then we’re going to let that drip yum all right this one my hole closed up cuz that was I didn’t do it big enough that’s all right there we go oh [Music] yum got redip these ones didn’t have enough [Music] frosting you may okay okay then for the baby ones just dip them like this don’t oh yeah you can have that down there that’s fine and just dip the baby ones mix them around okay let’s just do it like this there we go just do it like that okay now we’re going to take our Valentine sprinkles well that’s not working very well h I think we have to dip them in the sprinkles so now we going to dip so I’m going to take my leftover Christmas sprinkles too okay here we go now we’re cooking with gas there we go I’ll move some of those move them around so they’re not all clustered together here we go nice that looks delicious then I’m just going to leave the dut holes all right yum okay I’m going to let those set up and then I’m going to take some pictures and we’ll taste test okay Mr taste tester oo lunch extraordinaire M it’s an air fryer biscuit or an air fryer donnut I mean made with biscuits it’s good donut with a biscuit taste mhm for this Blueberry Lemon loaf which is an experimental recipe guys I’m just going to see if I can do it spraying my loaf pan very well I don’t know if this is going to work but oh my goodness it sounded so delicious I thought I should try it maybe when we should change the channel is Tara experiments maybe we should change that channel name what do you think maybe we should be called will it work will it work all right my favorite one of my favorite delicious or disaster that would be a great name okay we’re changing the channel name to delicious or disaster actually that’s pretty good dear man you’re just so witty delicious or disaster okay got my sugar in here and then I am going to get my lemon zest you have your C our gloves oh yeah that hello I always wear my gloves for grating guys it’s a long been a long couple of days and yeah okay sorry about that my favorite don’t cut yourself glove thank you dear you just want me to you just don’t want to be taking me either emergency room right see the anniversary of that one time in the garage where you took a nose dive it is is it came up on my Facebook the other day as a memory when I was in the hospital with my 347 concussion Tire with oxygen and an IV all right that our neighbor was a medic I fell in the I was walking in the garage in the dark and I tripped over a board and I face planted straight down on the corner of the workbench and you know it’s bad when we don’t ever go to the emergency room unless somebody’s you know really bleeding but when you’re neighbor who’s a medic says um you better go to the he’s a he was an e uh EMT like uh you better go to the emergency room that was feeling pretty out of it okay get all our biscuits in here and coat it with now you can put this in a plastic bag and shake it if you want I don’t want to waste a plastic bag so get them all coated yo okay so now we’re going to put half in the bottom smells good already yum now I’m going to sprinkle some of the sugar on the bottom there and we’re going to take our blueberries now these are frozen blueberries that’s why I’m not sure if this recipe is going to work cuz it calls for regular blueberries but we live in Wyoming and there ain’t no darn toot in way I’m paying $5 for a little thing of blueberry so would the sauce add to it no it’ll make it soggy like the only recipe that I’ve had fail in years the pizza monkey bread that was a fail that was such a bad fail that my family couldn’t even eat it now that has not happened we tried to fake it but it just didn’t work out years that has not happened in years but then she made the recipe again the next day differently and it really turned and it was amazing it really turned out good okay let me wash hands real quick all right we’re going to melt our butter and I’ll tell you right now I don’t think I have enough in here but I’m just going to get that melted first um yeah that’s not enough I just had to put like a teaspoon more of butter in here and it melted now I’ve got my brown sugar there going to mix this [Music] together then we’re going to pour this over the top and put this in a 350° oven make sure all my pieces are evenly spread out and got lots of that yummy goodness okay okay now we’re going to put this in the oven dear I really think we should change the channel name I think that’s brilliant okay guys comment tell me if we should change the channel name from super easy recipes to what was it you said delicious or disaster delicious or disaster I just love it I absolutely love it that’s so me all right here is that looks really good it does look really good okay so we’re going to let this cool for just a little bit and then we’re going to turn it over on a plate and glaze it okay I’m going to make a lemon glaze I have about a tablespoon or two of butter I’ll put the exact recipe down there I do not ever measure for my glazes because well it’s just such an easy recipe okay oops all right that was a piece of mint okay now get lemon glaz yeah to get the most juice out of your lemon if you roll it like that it really um breaks the lemon juice free you can use your hand if you want but I just I like my Sie all right couple [Music] tablespoons of well I guess it didn’t even help having my SI did it okay couple tablespoons of lemon juice and let’s see if we’ve got a glaze consistency or if I need to add a little bit of milk oh I don’t want to add milk to this because that will make it curdled the lemon will make the milk curle yes things the only here here folks oh my goodness this was yesterday’s recipe was on the outside of the powder sugar bag okay that’s very good now I have my plate and I need to pull all The Edge now let’s see if we can flip this out of here or not so pull and kind of lift pull and LIF pull and lift and now I think I got it all released this yum okay now I’m going to scrape out the bottom of the pan rest of the goodness all that yummy goodness is all there okay and then here’s the fun part I was going to see if I can just flip it but I can’t so there we go now obviously I need a bigger pan but then me add just a little bit more lemon juice cuz that’s not quite thin enough enough okay now what I’ll do is I’ll save the rest of my lemon glaze and I’ll make something else with it that looks really good holy cow okay we’re going to have mik test there it is oh I hate to ruin it it looks so pretty I know it looks so lovely doesn’t it yeah here I like Edge pieces is cuz I like crispy is it good mhm yay I can taste the lemon for sure the miracle of canned biscuits you got to love it all over my uh so I flower all over my apron and what did you think when you met me first time wearing an apron I said oh she’s gonna be baking stuff for me and she’s never gonna make any mistakes I had you fool didn’t I I didn’t really think on the mistakes I just I was like oh wow nice he that broke the internet this is my mom’s recipe and our dining on a dime cookbook page 91 volume two of our dining ey dime cookbook page 91 yes I saw this recipe going all over the Internet and I was like that’s mom’s sticky buns that’s what it’s been all right so actually instead of dirty a measuring cup I am going to just use this one the regular one all right so we’ve got our whipping cream now mom’s recipe I am cutting into quarters so there’s the whipping cream right there oh my goodness that is delicious and I just lie because I forgot I have to melt my butter or margarine so that’s not going to work so I’m going to put in my butter right here and melt it in the microwave okay I’ve got my butter or margarine melted in the microwave and now I’m going to add my brown sugar so that was 3 tablespoons of butter margarine and I’m going to add A4 of a cup of brown sugar now if you want you can add nuts into this you could put raisins would be really good um but we’re just going to make it my boys just like it plain so we’re just going to get this all mixed around just like this now mom’s recipe also calls for making homemade bread now you can use cinnamon rolls that I’m using today so I’m using these canned cinnamon rolls you could use freezer cinnamon rolls um and you can make your own it doesn’t really matter but I’m using the can today woo it fell apart it’s okay kind of part of the fun is rolling it back up isn’t it okay so we got one I think these are [Music] eight now we’re going to put this in a 400° oven for 13 to 17 minutes look at that bubbly delicious goodness okay we’re let this cool down for just about 5 minutes and then we’re going to tip it over okay it has been about five minutes so what I’m going to do is I’m going to put my cake plate upside down and I hope I can do this now you can just scoop them out if you want but I don’t know why I don’t know why I’m getting all fancy okay there and it’s still warm oops I didn’t do that very [Music] gracefully sco it over oh my goodness guys if you are liking these videos would you please 1 can Grands biscuits
1 package instant pudding mix
1 1/2 cups half and half
1 tub chocolate frosting
oil
Mix pudding mix and half and half until it forms a stiff pudding. Fry donuts in 340 degree oil until browned on both sides. Let cool. Fill donuts with pudding mix and frost with chocolate frosting.

Blueberry Lemon Monkey Bread
2 cans Pillsbury Grands Type Biscuits
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup blueberries
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2-3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. lemon zest

Grease a loaf or bundt pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut biscuits into quarters. Add sugar and lemon zest in a bowl. Add biscuit pieces and coat with sugar mixture.
Place half the biscuits in pan and half blueberries. Add rest of biscuits and blueberries. Stir together butter and brown sugar. Top biscuits with brown sugar mixture. Bake 40 minutes until browned. Let cool 10 minutes, turn onto place. Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice. Drizzle glaze on monkey bread.

  1. My dad used a brown paper bag and put cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar in it and shook the doughnuts in the bag.Quick trick and it covers the whole doughnut at once.

    We love them and make them to this day!
    They’re so good and easy to make. We’ve made them w vanilla frosting, or chocolate filled w jam or jelly , vanilla or chocolate pudding. Mmm mmm so good

  3. Sounds great! I wanted to mention that you should always use coated beaters in a metal bowl, or use a glass bowl instead. The uncoated beaters will leave very tiny pieces of metal in your food. I discovered this years ago when beating egg whites to make a meringue.

  4. I have been making the doughnuts like that since i was 12 years old. I watched my mom and started making them in the morning for everyone to have with coffee or chocolate milk. I would take my dad some out on the ranch where ever he was working. My dad went to coffee and met with all the guys at the coffee shop at 5:00am. So i took him a snack. Since I drove all over our since i was 10 years old.
    Since my dad never ate breakfast when i made something at breakfast time if he was on the ranch i would take him something to eat. Mostly a breakfast treat or small breakfast snack and a coffee.
