How To Make Strawberry Ice Cream Sandwich From Scratch For Valentine’s Day!

for this Valentine’s Day let’s make something special I’m gonna make a homemade strawberry ice cream sandwich you can of course buy pre-made ice cream from the store instead but for Valentine’s Day let’s make ice cream from scratch I’m gonna first start with the frozen strawberry and blend it up in the food processor I’m Gonna Keep blending this until smooth and now I have about a cup and a half of Blended strawberries it looks kind of like a sorbet in a bowl combine the milk sugar and salt whisk until the sugar is dissolved now stir in the heavy cream and the vanilla now stir in the strawberry now it’s starting to look like strawberry ice cream transfer the mixture into a container cover and refrigerate for one to two hours or overnight now let’s turn on the ice cream maker pour the mixture into the ice cream maker and let the mix thicken for about 15 to 20 minutes [Music] and here’s a pocket shot doesn’t this look so good okay our ice cream looks about done let’s transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and place it in the freezer for about two hours or overnight okay let’s move on to the cookies I have these various sized heart-shaped cookie molds and I also found these cookie stamps that lets you stamp letters into the cookies I thought it’ll be really cute to stamp little messages on top of our ice cream sandwich first I need to disassemble the letters and then I’ll place them on this little stamp and use it to stamp the cookies oh and remember to place these letters in backwards all right let’s mix the room temperature butter and sugar until smooth be in the egg and vanilla stir in the flour foreign baking powder and salt Once the dough is ready cover and chill in the refrigerator for one hour or overnight I’m just going to roll out the dough and cut the pieces out with my cookie cutter and now for the fun part I’m just going to use the stamp and stamp different messages on each cookie you can change the messages up these could be for anyone it could be for a friend and here are some extra ones that I did let’s make this one a little more festive first brush on some water I’m gonna put the cookie cutter back just for a second this is going to help guide my sprinkles and I’m just going to use the brush to pack the sprinkles in put the cookies in the oven to Bake at 400 degrees for seven minutes and voila this is what they look like so now that my ice cream’s done I’m gonna assemble the ice cream sandwiches I’m going to use the cookie cutter again and fill it up with ice cream this part will get a little messy after you’re done put it back in the freezer for a few minutes okay let’s start the assembly process I’m gonna use a small spoon to gently push the ice cream out and here they are and you can also put different messages on the back these are just too cute to eat Happy Valentine’s Day everybody and if you like this video please subscribe
