In this episode of In The Kitchen With Matt, I am going to show you how to make stained glass cookies. This easy homemade stained glass cookie recipe is awesome and only requires 7 ingredients! They can also be made into ornaments for the Christmas tree if you like. Follow the same technique to make stained glass windows for gingerbread houses. The glass is made from hard candy like jolly ranchers. Making stained glass cookies from scratch is super simple to do, if I can do it, you can do it, let’s get baking!

Matt, I'm 56 yrs old and only this year I've begun cookie making and decorating with royal icing. I've always wanted to make pretty snowflake cookies but never did get around to it. I started seeing cookie decorating channels and I just had to do it 😀! It's soo much fun that if I could go back in time- I'd be a baker by trade from my earliest job. I still haven't made those snowflake cookies but those are right around the corner 😀. My family is learning that my only contribution to holidays is now baked goods 😂😂😂.
I made a beautiful pirate ship cake for my granddaughters birthday..it turned out so good- I could have sold it for $125 ! But I wouldn't have made much- it took me well over 12 hrs. 😂😂😂.
Anyway thank you! I love these cookies and they'll be part of my christmas of goodies.
Aww these cookies are adorable! Your recipes are so thoughtfully presented. clearly explained and demonstrated for success. Always easy to follow and taste delicious. Thanks for another great recipe to add to the holiday treat plate or use as a tree decoration.
Wow. This Christmas and snowing treats. Love the opportunity of the Christmas treats. Love it Matt. I'm a 48 year old and I am a viewer of this channel.

Matt thanks for sharing this great idea. 🙂
I love your videos because they’re so easy to follow and straight to the point compared to others on youtube
Matt, when you split the dough, how long could you leave it in the fridge?
Or when freezing do you thaw it to room temperature?
Thanks
Awesome! These look so cool!
Matt is a great teacher if he can teach this 73 year old. I think I found a new hobby. 🙂
These are so much fun! Pretty and tasty!
Awesome project! Thank u!
Glass one🤍❤️
Love it
Good food
Mine came out so beautiful, but the melted Candy middle stuck to the wax paper. What should I do for the Candy not to stick to the wax paper. I did let them cool down completely .
What is the substitute of eggs.. Plz, reply
Is the jolly rancher center too hard to bite when the cookie cools?
