Hi Miss Crystal! You looked great in your dress! 😍 i'm so glad you took a day off, you seriously deserve it! Monkey bread is one of my kids' fave snack and it's something that i can do without exerting too much effort. I use the canned biscuit dough, cut it in quarters, then toss them in sugar and cinnamon. I make the sauce out of butter and brown sugar (sometimes i add pecans or apple slices). In a bundt cake pan i put the dough in the bottom then the sauce on top. I bake it for 15-20 mins at 350 (our oven is wonky). I think with what you had, you had to have either flour or oil on your hands for the kneading and rolling. I always put a cookie sheet underneath my pan or baking dish whenever i bake something so that it can catch any drippings, saves me from cleaning the oven a lot. It is called pinch me cake! I am from PA and am 50 yrs old. I was raised on this shit. Pinch me cake. Monkey bread sounds like a slur. It is pinch me cake.
