Banana Milkshake Recipe (Banana Milk Seki with Fresh Egg Yolk) | Cooking with Dog
We are making very nostalgic Milkshake also known as Milk Seki in Japan. It brings back my childhood memories. I enjoyed the drink while thinking how sweet, cold and delicious it was. We will be making a slightly different version of the classic recipe to add a modern taste.

Little Francis is getting old.
I thought your dog was male, why are you putting bows on a male dog?
Why are you shaking Francis? What's wrong?
I am interested in trying this but umm I don't really like banana, can I change the banana with other fruits or something else?
I love how chef was so considerate that she figured we may worry about Francis' shaking, and then she made the Yoda joke. It made me laugh. You are awesome!
so cute!!!
When Francis were saying e ingredients, he paused a little while after saying "Honey" n it juz sounds like he was calling us all Honey.. ^^ lol
Guys, this is an awesome recipe. I just made it and it is so creamy and refreshing…plus, super super easy to make. Everybody should try it!!!!
Do use egg yolk! I tried making one with and without. It tasted so much better with the egg yolk!! Seriously why we never use egg yolk in our milkshake? It's so good..
You won't taste the egg yolk, and it leaves you a rich smooth butter taste in your palate.
I love this recipe! 😀
So refreshing!
(I use fresh pasteurized egg yolk btw, to be safe)
Yum! Looks so refreshing and delicious for the warm weather coming up!
Instead of bananas I used apples (Because I didn't have any (and I didn't feel like going to the store at 10pm) and it was still good 😄
I dont live in japan so i can still blend the eggyolk raw? I heard bad stuff eating eggyolk raw
I don't often try these, but I was really glad I tried this one. Really easy and so tasty. Thank you Chef and Francis! ^__^
IIIKKKK….. for what a egg?
It's so simple and looks so good ^
drooling
And that last past xD
I feel the force just like yoga
Used with cashew milk and no egg yolk (wondered how it would taste). Still refreshing and yummy to me, I would make this for kids too ^_^
For once I actually ended up having the ingredients for this recipie!
Excited I ran into the kitchen to make it when I realised I had no Ice, or the nuts at the end.
so instead I made it just as is (Accidentally putting too much vanilla, I made two servings instead and stored the rest in the fridge.)
I also subsituted the end with flaky cereal with the raisins (even though I hate raisins) and it tastes wonderful with the cinnamon! awesome!
Oooaaahh…. delicious ( OISHI !!! )
Isn't that what Rocky Balboa drinks?
My milk seki brings all the dogs to the yard.
I accidentally blended it a bit too much, so it was quite frothy, but otherwise it was delicious! Thanks for the recipe!
the force is strong in francis
B.B.A
Hey my last name is in this!
My grandmother used to make this for us (without the egg yolk) as a special treat in the summer. She would use bananas that were too ripe and spotted and she called it just "banana milk". I tried this recipe with the yolk and it was delicious! Definitely brought back fond memories. Thanks for posting!
Does anyone know which model of blender they used here?
Thank you! I enjoy all of your videos and love Francis!
Eggs aren't necessary yuko
Hi Francis and Chef! I know this is an old video, but I just tried to make this! It's a chilly autumn's day here in England, but in my warm flat I wanted something cold~ I used a brown banana, and substituted the syrup for honey. I may have used a bit too much honey, but it was tasty nonetheless! Thank you Francis and Chef, this will definitely become a staple! <3
美味しそう💗飲みたい😆
