Today, I’m eating fruit sandwiches♪ These are fruit sandwiches from a greengrocer called “Yaojin.” This one is a seasonal fig from Aichi Prefecture! Figs have a unique flavor, kind of like a peach with a twist ♡ It was sweet and perfectly ripe♪ Apparently, figs are in season from June to July. This one is a dekopon. I was surprised by how sweet it was. The sweetness is rich and the acidity is mild—it’s delicious. It was so sweet I thought it might have been soaked in syrup. I love dekopon, but I cut back because eating too many citrus fruits made my skin turn yellow, so it’s especially tasty today. This juiciness is something only citrus fruits can offer ♡ I saw somewhere that mandarins were ranked as the number one favorite fruit. Citrus fruits are so good you want to eat several in a row♪ This is the Yaojin Mix. It has grapes, oranges, muscat grapes, and strawberries. Apparently, this one is their No. 1 bestseller. Indeed, with all these fruits, it’s the safest bet if you can’t decide. Fruit mix is always so delicious. I don’t mix fresh fruits much myself, but I often drink fruit mix juice. These fruits go well together, and they also pair wonderfully with the bread and cream—it’s so good. The balance really brings out the deliciousness of the fruit. This one is a seasonal peach. The peach is too good! It might be the first peach I’ve had this year. I’m so excited that such delicious peaches are almost in season. Sweet, cold, and juicy ♡ Peaches are one of my favorite fruits♪ Gotta lick the cream off my hand♪ This is the Mango Double. Too sweet ♡ It’s the sweetness of fully ripened mango. The fruit is so good that the bread and cream feel like extras. It’s extremely sweet, juicy, and incredibly fresh. Tastes like real, super-sweet Japanese mangoes. This was the sweetest so far ♡ The drink is Calpis Sweet Premium Hokkaido Fresh Cream Pudding flavor. Sweet! This one is Shine Muscat from Nagano Prefecture. This one’s also very sweet. Muscat grapes in fruit sandwiches are just amazing♪ When you think of fruit sandwiches, you think of muscat or strawberries. It was the super sweet and crunchy type of Shine Muscat ♡ Shine Muscat season is almost here—I can’t wait! This one is Crown Melon from Shizuoka, in season right now. What is this crunch!? The edge of the rind was perfectly left on. You can enjoy not only the melty texture but also the crunch—perfect for ASMR♪ This one is also insanely sweet. Second sweetest after the mango. This one is Honey Glow Pineapple. Honestly, this one was the most sour! But it’s extremely sweet for a pineapple ♡ Pineapple fruit sandwiches are the ultimate refreshment. It left me feeling refreshed near the end♪ Super juicy. This is Cookies Banana. It’s a fruit sandwich with sweet ripened banana and Oreo. This is way too good. The Oreo cream is the best. I want a whole liter of that Oreo cream. Pairs perfectly with banana.
