Trying what people say is the best basque cheesecake in Spain 📍La Vina, San Sebastián #food

We’re in San Sebastian trying the most famous cheesecake in the world. We’re at Lavina. They invented the best cheesecake almost 70 years ago and have become legends for it. When you walk in, they bring out a whole fresh cheesecake and you get two slices per order. That’s the ratio I’m loving here in Spain. Honestly, I’m way more team New York style cheesecake, but supposedly this is the best bath cheesecake you can get on earth. And they say the best bite is this creamy inside part that they call the liquid gold. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. I’m not going to lie. That’s insane. I came in here being a bastard cheesecake hater and I really wanted to stay team New York. But that liquid gold bite was insane. Now supposedly we pair it with wine. Twist my arm. I hate to say this. Maybe this is why people in Europe are so happy cuz they just eat sweets and drink wine all day. Maybe if we did that in New York everyone would just calm down a little bit. We’ve had a lot of cheesecake in Spain. This is by far the best slice we’ve had. And it doesn’t have the super burnt flavor of other bass cheesecakes. It’s really creamy. Only five ingredients. And they make it fresh every single
