This time I would like to make fluffy French toast with brown sugar and soybean flour. I’m going to make French toast with the ears cut off. I’d like to make French toast with the cut off ears as well. The ingredients are easy to find and very simple to make. There are some key points here and there, so please enjoy the show to the end. Please have a look at it. Easy recipes at home Let’s start by introducing today’s ingredients. Here are the ingredients. Bread, milk, brown sugar, eggs, soybean flour, unsalted butter I will use these materials for this project. First of all, we will use brown sugar for the sweetness because this time it is brown sugar kinako French toast. This time, we will use a fine powder of brown sugar like this. This brown sugar can be used in block form or in flake form. As for the block type, chop it up into small pieces and use it. And the bread. We will use 4 slices of thick bread this time. As for the thickness of this bread, use whatever you prefer. So I will make it with these ingredients as soon as possible. Easy recipes at home Now let’s start making them. First I will start with the egg mixture. I’m using brown sugar this time, but brown sugar tends to be a little lumpy, so I want to dissolve it with a small amount of milk at first. First add the brown sugar. And then take about a tablespoon out of the milk that you use here and put it in. And mix it well. I used a fine powder this time, but even so, it sometimes clumps like this. So I would like to heat this one in the microwave once. Microwave 600w for 15 seconds. Heated for 15 sec. Then mix well again. If there are still clumps, use a rubber spatula or similar tool to crush the mixture like this. If the mixture is roughly mixed in this way, it is OK. It’s okay if there are a few grains of brown sugar left at this stage. Try to mix it so that as few grains remain as possible. Now continue to mix the soybean flour here. Shake the soybean flour and add it. Then mix well. Mix well to avoid lumps. OK. For the soybean flour, please combine with a small amount of milk at the beginning to avoid lumps and to make a beautiful finish. Then crack an egg into this mixture. And mix well. If the eggs are well mixed, it is ok. Now continue and add all the remaining milk. Then mix well. If it mixes well, it is ok. Then I would like to strain the egg solution here once. This will make the finished product very beautiful. Now let’s strain. Let’s strain it through a tea strainer. OK. Once you strain, you can get rid of the egg carcasses, yolk membrane, and so on. This gives a very smooth finish. The egg mixture is now ready. Now I will continue to cut the bread. This time I will remove the ears of the bread. You can leave the bread with the ears, but if you bake the bread with the ears attached, the soft part of the bread will easily fall apart at the end of baking. So this time we will remove it. Please leave this one here as it will be utilized later. Then cut this bread in half. This is ok. Now, here is the bread ear that was cut off earlier. I would like to roll this one up and soak it in the egg mixture and bake it with the French toast. Let’s start with the front and roll it up into a curly roll. It looks like this. Wrap like this. Then put it on a bamboo skewer here. It looks like this. The rest is spun around in the same way. And when you’ve rolled it up, put it on a bamboo skewer in the same way. Like this. Now, wrap the rest around and stick them in the same way. Stick it on a bamboo skewer like this. Now prepare a heat-resistant container like this. And first add the egg mixture here. Add about a third of the mixture. Then place the bread. After placing the bread, first soak it all over. Then pour the egg mixture over the top again. OK. Then put plastic wrap over the top and leave it to soak in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. After 15 minutes, turn it over and let it soak into the part that is now on the front. 30 minutes have passed. Then please remove the wrap. The egg liquid is almost gone now. Finally, we want to make sure that the egg mixture is spread to the sides of the dough by shaking the dough from side to side like this. That’s it. I think there will be a little extra of this egg mixture. So this one will be used for the ears of the bread that I just rolled up. Now I will transfer the excess egg mixture to the bat. Be careful not to break the bread at this point. Then I will soak the ears of this bread. Wrap the bread ears in plastic wrap like this to keep them from drying out until you are ready to use them. Now let’s soak. Soak the ears of the bread just before baking because they may come off the skewers after soaking for 30 minutes. Soak the bread well like this. So now I would like to bake these two now. Easy recipes at home Now I will bake it in a frying pan. First put butter in the frying pan. Then put it on the heat. Heat: Low to medium heat. Melt half of the butter first. Once half melted, remove this butter. And then reduce the heat to low. Now I will put the bread on here. And after that, let’s put this one on as well. After putting everything on like this, put the lid on. Then, continue to cook slowly over low heat. Grill until browned. The size of the pan and the material it is made of will also affect the degree of browning. It has been about 5 minutes now. Check once. Look at the baking color. Good. Lightly browned is ok. Be careful, it is full of brown sugar and can burn easily. Then turn it over. Have ho. This is about right. When it browns a little, flip it over. Now turn this one over as well. Now let’s turn this one over as well. And when you flip it over, put the rest of the butter in. And let the whole thing soak up the butter. Move it around a little bit like this to soak up the butter on the back side as well. Let’s put it on this side. Then put the lid on. And continue to cook slowly over low heat again until browned. The heat level is about this low. It is OK to use really low heat. It’s been about 3 minutes now. Open the lid. It is baked fluffy like this. Then the last side is baked. It would be easier to use two spatulas when baking the sides. Be careful, it’s a little soft. Put this up first and burn the sides. When it stands on its own, you can bake it as it is. This is also baked on the sides. Have ho. I think it would be best if you bake it for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Let’s turn this skewer too. Low heat is also used when grilling the sides. Then, after cutting the bread, soak it all over with the egg mixture and soak it for 15 minutes on each side. And here’s the key to baking. When grilling, make sure to cover the pan and cook it slowly over low heat. This will make them very fluffy. Now you can bake it until the whole thing is nice and brown.
