Trying Japanese Soufflé Cheesecake IN JAPAN #shorts

Japan is obviously known for countless unique dishes that the world loves them for. One of them is this fluffy soule cheesecake and it comes from this specific restaurant called Ricardo in Osaka. I was there for a day and the first thing I did once I got off the train was wait in line to get a hot one. It’s pretty cheap for an entire cake and of course you have to watch it jiggle. I tore into it like a caveman in the middle of the town square. It just feels good in your hands, but man, that taste and texture is one of the best food experiences you can have. It does have raisins at the bottom, which I don’t need, but I also don’t mind. It’s mainly the whipped egg flavor, which makes sense because that’s the most prominent ingredient, but you do get a lightly sweet cream cheese flavor, which completes the flavor profile for me. There’s definitely recipes to try to replicate this at home, which I might try someday, but getting the OG experience where it all started is unforgettable.
