Japanese Dried Mochi Rice Cookie KAKIMOCHI

Crispy authentic Japanese Rice Cookie using Mochi recipe. Kakimochi is very popular Japanese snack made from Mochi. Also called [Agemochi], or [Okaki]. You can buy this in any supermarket or convenience store in Japan. But not many people make this at home.
I will show you how. Try this Fresh fried Kakimochi. Everyone will love it for sure!

What you need
〇 Mochi 
〇 Veg. oil
〇 Soy sauce

Japanese make Mochi in Late December for celebrating New years day. Mochi is mainly served during Japanese winter time. I remember gettng tired of eating mochi everyday in my child hood memeries. One day I went to my friends house and his mother made us Kakimochi for snack. Freshly fried crispy Kakimochi. Now it is my time to serve this to my friends.

Points
〇 Cut mochi to small size and Dry in sunny winter days for 3 days
〇 It takes about 6~7min. in 180℃~190℃ in veg. oil
〇 Mochi has to be dried enough to fry. If not it will melt and stick together.

もう餅が余ることもカビになる事もありません。子供も大人も大喜び間違いなし!餅を買ってでも作りたくなるかき餅の作り方を紹介します。このお菓子の正式名称がわかりません。揚げ餅?おかき?かき餅?

材料
〇 餅 動画では市販の切り餅4~5個
〇 サラダ油
〇 醤油、塩など

作り方
〇 餅を小さなサイズにカットして冬場の晴れた日に3日程外で干す。
〇 しっかり干せば長期保存が可能なるし、いつでもかき餅が作る事ができます
〇 180℃から190℃の油で6~7分で軽く焼き色がついたらできあがり。
〇 乾いてないお餅でやると大失敗するので注意
