    -1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (180g)
    -1 tsp baking soda
    -2 cups rolled oats (198g)
    -2 tsp cinnamon
    -3/4 tsp salt
    -1 cup unsalted butter, room
    temperature (226g)
    -1 cup light brown sugar, packed (213g)
    -1/2 cup granulated sugar (99g)
    -1 egg + 1 egg yolk, room temperature
    -2 tsp vanilla
    -1 3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate
    chips (or your choice of chocolate
    chips)
    1. In a medium bowl whisk together
    flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon, and
    salt. Set aside.
    2 In a large bowl beat the butter, light
    brown sugar, and granulated sugar until
    light and fluffy.
    3. Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla. Mix
    until combined.
    4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet
    ingredients and mix until just
    combined.
    5. Fold in chocolate chips.
    6. Chill dough for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
    7. Scoop the dough onto lined baking
    sheets. I use a 3 Tbsp cookie scooper
    8. Bake at 350°F for 12-13 minutes.
