Here are pies that have been chilled. They are still hard like a stone. I should have wrap them thinner. I’m impatient so I used microwave again to soften them. I tried my best rolling it out. Well..I really should have been more patient and brought it to room temperature. It’s collapsing. I could manage it somehow. Make almond paste by combining 1 egg yolk, 3 tablespoons sugar, and 3 tablespoons ground almonds. I wanted to make the lattice top, but the pie dough wasn’t soft enough to make it beautiful ..or it was just because of my lack of ability. Hide flaws with flowers.
