【韓国】駅地下Ecole de Croassantのパンが凄く美味しい。【コグマパン】【絵コレデクロワッサン】
Eating Eating Korea! Ecole de Croassant Today, I got some delicious-looking pastries from Ecole de Croassant, which is one of my favorite bakery in Korea. I’ve had their pastries once before. I think I had like, three croissants? There were so many delicious-looking products on display so I got some to try them out. This is it! I’ve had croissant from this bakery. It’s called Ecole de Croassant. This bakery is located under the station. The actual bakery is located in Yaksu. Which has the most variety. Of pastry, I mean. I got… Baby mont blanc, 5000won
that’s about 500yen. Angkko sand costs 3500won,
about 350yen. Chaljiguma costs 3500won,
which is 350yen. This pastry is inspired by sweet potato. I heard there’s sweet potato inside. This one is very popular in Korea, This is called angkkoppang, which has
both green and brown colored sweet red bean paste inside You can see a lot of pastries similar to this one. And this! It looks awesome! A giant mont blanc with cocoa powder. Time to eat now. I’m having black tea today. Let’s dig in! First, I’m gonna try this chocolate mont blanc… Wow, this is huge. There’s whipped cream in the middle and lots of chocolate covered on top. This is too big. I can’t eat it as is. Let me cut it… OPEN! I got a great feeling about this one. This is mont blanc. Looks like this. it’s quite soft. It looks lighter than I thought so I think I can finish this quite easily. I’m just gonna dig in. A piece with lots of whipped cream. So good! I love the cocoa powder on top. It’s so good!! It’s very soft and it’s pretty chewy inside. The outside is slightly crunchy. And the cocoa powder has that bitterness. You get this unsweetened, not too sweet, dessert for adults. The pastry and whipped cream are pretty sweet so it’s perfectly balanced. It’s not as rich as I thought. The center of this whipped cream is frozen. I’m not sure if they made it like that on purpose but it’s really good. So delicious~ I’m not a fan of mont blanc, to be honest. Among pastries, I mean. It’s not that I hate it, I just don’t reach for it too often. But this one, it’s so good. I didn’t expect it to be chewy but it is. And it’s crispy on the outside. Then there’s this chocolate coating… This bittersweet chocolate and the cold whipped cream combo is the BEST. There was plain mont blanc with no chocolate, I think that would be delicious as well. The pastry itself is… As I’ve said it before, the pastry itself is so good and there’s hint of sweetness to it. That’s why the chocolate in top and the whipped cream are made not too sweet. I’m just gonna put that aside for now and try another one. I’ll have the mont blanc later. This angkkoppang. Wow, there’re chestnuts! It’s gonna be so good. There’s whipped cream and chestnuts inside. I see red bean kinda thing on the green paste. Wow, this is good. It’s crispy kind. Look, No, it came off… Oh, wait! There’re so much chestnuts inside! The red things on the green paste, they are dried fruits! It add texture, so good! It’s full of chestnuts! Isn’t this luxurious? The paste is not too sweet. I really like this one. It has that Japanese dessert feel to it cuz of the chestnuts. And cuz of the red bean paste. But the whipped cream and the dried fruits
make it feel like typical western dessert as well. It’s a combination of western and Japan. It is both bread and pie, in a way. UMM~ So good. You know, I went to the bakery in the cold winter morning but it was so worth it. “It’s freezing!” That’s what I said as I was running to that bakery. I even took a train to get there. I armed myself with my coat, looking like a snowman. Anyway, Huh? It’s heavy. This is really heavy. Wow, I feel like it has a lot going on inside! Let’s cut this first… Oh, there’s whole sweet potato inside? I think it might be! I heard that it’s sweet potato paste or something. It definitely looks like a sweet potato outside. It’s purple. It’s like roasted sweet potato. WOW It’s super chewy! It almost feels like mochi! The sweet potato paste inside is super creamy and soft! This paste tastes like it only used sweet potato and nothing else. I bet there’s some heavy cream as well but still. The bread part is… OMG… It’s unbelievably chewy! It’s so good. This is so delicious!! I know I’ve said this a lot but this bakery is the best. So chewy! Is it really mochi? I mean, that’s how chewy this is. Look, look! Do you see that? Look at that! Look at this chewiness! See? I’d say this is mochi-like texture… No, it is mochi. From all the bread made of sticky rice
that I’ve ever tried so far, this is the most chewy. Real mochi-like bread. This is super good. My god! This is way too good. The sweet potato I’ve had just now, what’s it called? The… chaljiguma ppang! You really need to get this. I highly, highly recommend it! It is so good. I do like chewy bread so I might be partial to this one but, if you’re a fan of chewy bread, you should definitely get this. OK. Now, the mont blanc. It was so good. OMG They were so delicious. No joke. I hit the jackpot. This bakery never disappoints. As you can guess from the name, Ecole de Croassant, this bakery’s main product is croissant. But the ones I got today were better than the croissant. I didn’t expect that. Especially that chaljiguma, which looks like a roasted sweet potato. That was super delicious. You’ll know once you get your hands on this one. It’s super heavy. It’s full of sweet potato paste and the bread is so chewy. You should definitely try that one. And when I first tried to go to this bakery, I googled Youtube comments, twitter, Instagram and everything but I couldn’t fine it. I really couldn’t. You might find nothing at all if you google it in Japanese. This is just a plain bakery under the station. So I think I’m gonna make a post about this bakery on my blog. The ameba blog.
