How to make Meat Pie
meat pie is one of my favorite snacks to make so let me show you how I make mine start by mixing together all purples flour and salt then add the butter I usually use unsalted butter but you can use salted butter or margarine mix in the butter until it looks like this then add the cold water so the reason we use cold water is that helps resolidify the butter so the dough is easy to work with mix just until it comes together do not need the dough then cover in plastic wrap and place it in the fridge to chill while we make the filling to make the filling heat up a little oil then fry some chopped onions until soft add the mined beef and then break apart and Fry until it’s no longer pink season with some beef seasoning cubes salt garlic powder and pepper fry for a bit then add some chopped potatoes and carrots stir fry this for about 2 to 3 minutes then add some water cover and allow to cook on low or medium heat for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the potatoes are soft next add the thickening agent which is just a mix of corn flour and water mix until the filling is nice and thick and it’s done cut the pie crust into smaller pieces and then roll until flat use a plate or the cover of a small pot to cut into a circle now brush around the edge with egg wash that is going to seal the pie add the filling make sure the filling has completely cooled down before adding crimp with a fork like this then transfer to a baking dish brush the top with egg wash to give it a nice color and shine poke holes at the top for venting so it doesn’t pop open in the oven bake for about 30 to 40 minutes and your pies are ready you can find the full recipe on my blog kik.com

Thank you for putting this recipe out. As someone who does not enjoy cooking, I made this and it came out well. First time, the dough was a bit hard like biscuit because bjtter wasn't enough but I made a second attempt today and it was perfect!
