Atlantis The Royal is the twin property of Atlantis The Palm, opened in 2008. The construction reportedly cost 1.6 billion dollars. The architecture is a futuristic design made of interlocking blocks. Right up there is their famous infinity pool that we’ll visit a little later. To the entrance now. Hotel’s driveway and parking area are luxurious. Bright yellow and red Ferrari cars immediately catch the eye. Golden art pieces decorate the ceiling above the entrance. It’s our first time visiting Atlantis The Royal and we are really excited. These are called “Lava Trees”. The grand revolving door leads into one of Dubai’s most impressive hotel lobbies. Let’s see.. Inside, water walls and fire elements create a dramatic welcome. And here you have it, the lobby of Atlantis The Royal. It’s grand, bright, and open, with a breathtaking metallic sculpture at its center. It’s called Droplets. On the right side we have the check-in area. A row of elegant Audemars Piguet clocks. There are both table and sofa seats offering a beautiful view of the fountains. Fountain shows at Atlantis The Royal are among the most spectacular in Dubai. At night, the same fountains transform into the Skyblaze Fountain Show, held every 30 minutes from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The show combines water, light and fire and it looks incredible! I can’t wait for tonight!! A striking blue sculpture as a bodyguard. These fountain shows were designed by WET Design, the same Los Angeles company behind the Dubai Fountain at Burj Khalifa and the Bellagio Fountain in Las Vegas. It’s one of the few fountain shows in the world that uses real fire with water, symbolizing energy, transformation and the spirit of Dubai. Back inside, let’s take a quick look at what’s served in the Tearoom lounge. Fancy pastries here on display. These look really expensive. They also serve afternoon tea priced around AED 440 per person (about $120 USD). Luxurious chocolates. Perfect heart chocolate. Baklava. Honestly, we didn’t originally book a room with club access but we were given it as a courtesy since our room wasn’t ready by 3 p.m. I’m actually glad this happened, because I love club lounges and now we’ll have access to it until we leave the hotel. The space is large, calm and beautifully designed. Throughout the day, the lounge offers breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails. White and golden outdoor slippers. Heating system works smoothly. Atlantis The Royal opened its doors in February 2023, making it still one of Dubai’s newest and most modern luxury hotels. We have a nice terrace. Outdoor seating and tea table. Let’s have a look at the scenery. Our room overlooks Palm Jumeirah. I personally recommend choosing the Palm view rooms, even though they’re slightly more expensive. Over there… Is the Cloud 22, the most popular spot in the hotel, featuring one of the most famous infinity pools in all of Dubai. Residence building is located on the opposite side of the 90-meter sky bridge. In the distance, you can spot Dubai’s newest luxury hotel, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. Right next to it stands the iconic Burj Al Arab, often called the world’s only 7-star hotel. Our room overlooks the entire outdoor area of the resort. Aquaventure Waterpark that we’ll visit tomorrow. Hot-air balloon and Atlantis The Palm hotel. You can watch the full tour of Atlantis The Palm on our channel. Dubai Marina and skyscrapers are visible. I will not zoom in for millionaires’ privacy though. The Palmscape King Room with Breakfast is priced at around AED 3,550 AED per night, which is approximately €827. Suites can go significantly higher in price, depending on the category and especially those with private pools. The Panoramic Penthouse can reach up to an astonishing €35,000 per night, especially during peak season, placing it among the most expensive hotel rooms in the world. Now that we’ve relaxed for a while, we’ve come outside to enjoy the sunset from the private beach area. Atlantis The Royal hotel. Cloud 22 and other hotel facilities. Residence tower with private apartments. It’s a beautiful long beach. Since it’s getting darker, we’ll take a closer look at the hotel’s outdoor facilities tomorrow morning. Bye sunlight. Next on our list is climbing up to the infinity pool. This famous spot isn’t just for hotel guests but it’s also open to outside visitors with a reservation. It’s located on the 22nd floor of the Sunrise Tower. The entire place is a Dolce & Gabbana x Qunass collaboration. Cloud 22 has become so exclusive that even hotel guests now need to pay to access it. Unfortunately, there were no loungers available today, so we’ll just enjoy a cocktail at the pool bar. In terms of the atmosphere… It’s great. Alright, nice moves! We’ve reached the bar area located right in the center of the pool. This is our seat. It’s such a chic bar. Let’s see the bar menu. Food such as Cloud 22 Signature caviar and Seafood tower priced at 2,400 AED ($650). Snacks and plates. Desserts like Lemon affogato. Drinks menu includes signature cocktails. Wide selection of champagne. Wines from all around the world. Mocktails like Watermelon Fizz (which I am going to choose). There is a DJ booth. Even though there are plenty of sun loungers, they’re fully booked throughout the day, with prices starting at 330 AED / person (around $90 USD). Access to Cloud 22 is restricted to adults aged 21 and above. The infinity pool stretches an impressive 90 meters across the rooftop. It’s really nice here but… I don’t think the price or the hype fully live up to it. Arabian Gulf on the other side of the hotel. It’s going to be a beautiful sunset. Let’s continue our walk around Cloud 22. This area is more private and has a hot tub. I got a notification that my drink is ready so I headed back to the bar. Watermelon Fizz for 90 AED ($20). IT BETTER BE GOOD. The most expensive mocktail in my life and it tastes like watermelon juice. Anyways, this is the floating sunbeds area. The premium floating sunbeds and VIP cabanas can reach up to 2,400–3,000 AED per day (around $650–$820 USD). Menwhile enjoying my mocktail. Looks like people are having fun. Atlantis The Palm can be admired from here. At night, the atmosphere completely transforms. The pool area lights up in shades of blue and purple, creating a chic almost futuristic vibe. This is perfect for cocktails and music under the stars. In my opinion, it’s a beautiful infinity pool and I’m really glad I got to experience it but it does feel a bit overrated. Time for the night fountain show. It takes place right in front of the Greek restaurant Milos, one of the best viewing spots in the resort. Mamma mia. So nice. That’s enough of the fountain show for now. Let’s head over to the restaurant for our dinner! Milos is considered to be the best Greek restaurant in Dubai, renowned for its mastery of seafood. Inside the restaurant. Since all their restaurants are very popular, reservations have to be made in advance. Look at these fish. The atmosphere is elegant and refined, with the restaurant dimly lit to create a sophisticated ambiance. DJ. The best part of dining here is that we can watch the fountain show right from our dinner table. Luckily, we got the best table. Dinner begins with some sparkling water. It’s such a great dinner spot. Milos drinks menu. Wine by glass. Options from Italy such as Ornellaia in Tuscany. Options from Germany, Austria, South Africa, Chile, etc. Dinner menu at Milos focuses on fresh Mediterranean flavors and premium seafood. Signature dishes include: grilled octopus with Santorini capers, Mediterranean sea bass or Feta calamari. We’ll try the octopus and calamari. Fresh bread on the house with extra virgin olive oil. It is made exclusively for Milos brand around the world. Fresh oregano leaves. I love the Greek music playing in the background. It has such a beautiful color. And an even better taste. Omg, fountain show just started. I am excited. It is spectacular. There is a show every 30 minutes so we will have plenty of time to watch 2 or 3 of them. My “HARMONY” mango mocktail is here. It’s 45 AED, half the price from Cloud 22. The hotel is so beautifully illuminated during the night time. Time to eat. It’s Limnos Island grilled octopus with Santorini fava. Santorini fava is a traditional Greek dish made from yellow split peas. It’s a good one. Stuffed calamari with three cheeses and chili peppers. The interior of the calamari… Let’s enjoy! Interrupted by the fountain show. The Skyblaze Fountain Show at Atlantis The Royal is one of the most advanced water performances ever created and the only permanent fountain in the world that combines water, fire and light in a single synchronized display. Beautiful!! Clap, clap, clap. Let’s enjoy together. The dessert menu at Milos features several elegant Greek-inspired options like Karydopita, a traditional Greek walnut cake in sweet syrup, served with vanilla ice cream (65 AED). I don’t really like Greek desserts so I ordered a salty ice cream with honey. And a coconut ice cream. (Mine is better). So the bill for tonight came to 512.36 AED, which is roughly $140. Quite fair considering the setting, service and overall experience at Milos. What do you think? Food was great but the best part of this evening was definitely the Skyblaze show. I think the best spots to watch the fountain show are definitely from the restaurant terrace or from the balconies above. It’s been a great day indeed. This hotel is a true architectural masterpiece, especially when you look up at night. The water flow looks even more stunning after dark, illuminated by soft lights that bring the whole area to life. Fountain area is beautifully lit. At night, the outdoor seating area looks so nice. The small fire bowls floating on the water create a warm, golden glow that reflects beautifully across the surface. Back in the lobby.. Atmosphere becomes quieter during the night hours. The fish in the aquariums swim gracefully through the illuminated water. The sculpture is in the same place. Heading back to our room. Hmm.. Turndown service was completed. Now I realized that I forgot to show you the fluffiest indoor slippers. Here they are. Water was placed next to the bed. Sleep lotion with melatonin for a nice sleep. More surprises? Soffio Prosecco Extra Dry, vintage 2023. Inside the blue box.. There is modeling clay?? It’s chocolate 🙂 Bathroom is beautiful and elegant. Fluffy bath rugs. Let’s step out onto the balcony and take a look at the night views. Fountain show happening right now. It is so colorful from above. The music is quite loud, which is probably why the fountain shows stop at 10:30 p.m. At night, Palm Jumeirah transforms into a glowing masterpiece, literally like a palm floating on the sea. Aquaventure World. Cloud 22 is now closed. Let’s prepare for the sleep. We can watch almost anything we want on this TV. Sweet dreams. It’s the next morning on Palm Jumeirah. It is quiet. A good morning starts with a nice breakfast! The breakfast buffet at Atlantis The Royal is served at Gastronomy, the hotel’s main dining venue. Breakfast at Gastronomy is often described as the best breakfast buffet in the world and for a good reason. Gastronomy is very large, one of the biggest breakfast venues in Dubai. The space is divided into different international food zones. We’ll start with The Orchard. Wide variety of oils. Oh wow. Bravo, Atlantis, for creating your own organic sauces. These are Atlantis’s signature sauce dispensers built right into the wall. Beef bresaola, beef salami, turkey ham. Fig jam and quince paste. Grilled olives, roasted sweet potato Arabic pickles, roasted eggplant and beetroot. Smoked pink kraut, grilled olives. Breakfast is served every day from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. This is The Pizzeria where they prepare zaatar pide, cheese manakisn, pizza with tuna, etc. Since there are 795 rooms in the hotel, the food flow must be very well-coordinated to serve such a large number of guests every morning. “The noodle bar” is the place where they serve noodles and pasta. Ice cream toppings like flower jelly, cola gummies, fruit drops jelly. Caramelized popcorn, mini marshmallows, sprinkles. The cafe bar where we can order coffee, etc. Next to the cafe there are some cinnamon pecan rolls. Now that we’ve explored all the buffet stations, let’s look for a dining table to enjoy our breakfast. Oh sorry, there’s more food. At “The seven seas” they offer seafood, sushi and western food in the back. Beetroot and gravlax are being shown. Tuna pastrami and smoked salmon. Some fruits as well. All kinds of fruits. Muesli is in a large quantity. Chia pudding. And again some juices. It’s our first time experiencing such a large breakfast venue, and I have to say that I’m truly impressed. Kale salad with some cheese, raisins, olives etc. Would it be the most perfect poached egg? Eggs, focaccia, labneh. Chocolate and salted caramel ice cream. My mum always tells me that I make her hungry when she watches my videos. Sorry mum. Matcha latte is great. First breakfast, finished. Lobby is too quiet in the morning. After such a sumptuous breakfast, let’s take a relaxing walk around the pools and beach area. This is the entrance to Nobu by the beach. There is a reception on the left and an expensive beach shop on the right. Moving on, we’ve reached the pool and garden area surrounded by greenery and elegant landscaping. Nobu by the Beach at Atlantis The Royal is an ultra-exclusive adults-only pool club and restaurant created by the world-renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa. The venue is open only to adults (21+) and can be accessed by hotel guests (free) and external visitors with advance reservations (for a fee). Now that we’ve chosen a sun bed, let’s enter the luxury pool. Water here feels sophisticated. When we look up… The hotel looks fabulous. Entry prices and cabanas vary by season, but expect a minimum spend or day-pass fee that reflects the exclusivity of the setting. Take a look at the Nobu menu. Tacos, signature sashimi, Nobu caviar. Desserts like mango cheesecake, yuzu tiramisu. Ice cream bars and soft serve ice cream. Nobu exclusive sake.

The pool area is very spacious. AWAKEN sun screen, aloe face mist and after sun gel. The atmosphere is relaxed now. The pool isn’t heated, but the water temperature naturally stays at a comfortable 23–24°C. At first, though… it might just wake you up faster than your morning coffee. (kidding) Feels great! We could see the entire hotel from this exact spot. This is Nobu by the Beach, the resort’s exclusive Japanese–Peruvian restaurant. There’s also an outdoor bar and terrace. Seating is simple and elegant, specific to Nobu restaurants. The indoors has the same atmosphere. Private cabanas can be rented for the whole day. Each comes with sun loungers, a sofa, a mini-fridge and personal service. Cold towels to bear the outside heat. To the hotel’s private beach. Atlantis The Royal resort map. It is the same as the one we received upon check-in. Compared to many other luxury resorts in Dubai, it’s not particularly large but every area is efficiently planned. There are 14 dining venues and 11 entertainment areas. We are near the Royal pool. There are multiple pathways leading directly to the beach, making it easy to access from any part of the resort. They’re perfectly aligned to face the sea for the best views of the Palm and the horizon. The color of the water is really beautiful and quite clear. Atlantis The Royal features a private white-sand beach that stretches for nearly 2 kilometers along the Palm Jumeirah. Time to go for a swim. The water temperature is surprisingly warm. Oh wow. The area is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the kids are allowed here. There is another pool at the top. It is beautiful but I personally prefer the Nobu pool. The upper section of the pool area features several small fountains. Ice cream booth. They offer flavors such as red velvet cheesecake, cookies and cream, salted caramel. Prices start at 45 AED. (around $10) Kids can be unpredictable so I won’t enter the pool with my phone. These umbrellas and tall palm trees create a relaxing atmosphere under the Dubai sun. Both outdoor pools are amazing, but I recommend Nobu by the Beach if you want a quieter space. We can’t visit Atlantis The Royal without seeing their world-famous Aquaventure Waterpark. To get there, we’ll take the resort buggy which drops guests directly there. Buggy ride is comfortable and quick. In almost no time, we are here. Guests staying at Atlantis The Royal or Atlantis The Palm enjoy unlimited complimentary access to the waterpark throughout their stay. Thanks. Got a new blue watch. Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis The Royal is one of the largest and most advanced waterparks in the world. It features over 105 slides and attractions, including record-breaking rides, lazy rivers splash zones and private beach areas. Aquaventure is also home to Shark Safari, Aquaconda and Poseidon’s Revenge as well as the Trident Tower, the tallest waterslide in the Middle East. The park is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., though hours may vary slightly depending on the season. I don’t even know where to start from. This place is absolutely massive and I think I’m already lost. First we’ll start with the park’s most famous attraction, the Leap of Faith. It’s a near-vertical slide that sends you through a transparent tunnel surrounded by sharks. Often called the scariest water slide in the world, it drops from 27.5 meters, about nine stories high. Now it’s my turn to try something. I’m going for the Shark Safari. I grabbed an inflatable tube for the ride. Popular attractions like Leap of Faith or Poseidon’s Revenge can have 30–45 minute wait times. This attraction starts in a dark tunnel and ends in a clear slide that passes by the aquarium. It was fast but not too scary. So many fish and rays gliding by the glass walls. SOOORRY There are tables nearby where you can sit down or take a short break. Pappa Pops sells ice cream. A small shop nearby sells water gear and essentials. Flip-flops, water shoes, hats and swimsuits.
Prices start around 149 AED, roughly 41 USD. We can play different games.
Nice moves, friend. Next is Splashers Cove, a colorful play zone for younger kids. It has shallow pools and mini slides. The hotel looks beautiful. This green water slide is called Twisters because it has many twists? COOL Huh. I’m okay. Free water here. (remember the spot) More games on the left side. This is Poseidon Tower, another must-visit landmark here. It features some of the most thrilling slides, including Poseidon’s Revenge and Aquaconda. Nearby, Atlas Village offers several outdoor dining options from poke bowls and frozen yogurt to pizza. In Greek mythology, Atlas is the Titan who holds up the sky and this area reflects that theme beautifully. We’ve now reached Dolphin Bay. Aquaventure offers unique marine experiences, like swimming with dolphins or snorkeling in the Ambassador Lagoon. There are around 28 bottlenose dolphins living here. You can easily spend a full day exploring everything Aquaventure has to offer. We were in a bit of a hurry so we headed straight to the souvenir shop before visiting Atlantis The Palm. A small shop selling sweets, water bottles and little souvenirs. Ice cream. Soda juice. Water bottles as souvenirs. We are now inside Atlantis The Palm hotel. The luxury hotel opened in 2008 features a massive tank called The Lost Chambers Aquarium. It’s home to over 65,000 marine animals. The design is inspired by the legend of the lost city of Atlantis. You can walk through glass tunnels surrounded by fish, sharks and rays. It’s one of the most visited attractions in Dubai. Guests staying at the hotel get complimentary access to The Lost Chambers Aquarium. Day visitors can also buy tickets separately. Inside, there are over 20 themed chambers to explore. Each one reveals a different part of the mythical underwater city. The atmosphere is calm and mysterious, with dim lights and ambient ocean sounds. You think they are talking to each other? It’s a great place for both adults and children to discover marine life up close. A cool feature at The Lost Chambers is scanning a fish to learn its habitat, behavior and more. It is called Moon Jelly apparently because they look like the moon. The aquarium has quite a unique atmosphere. There are many scary elements such as this statue in the middle. These fish look incredibly rare and unusual. Their bodies shimmer like metal, moving in schools. Here’s a tank filled with seahorses. They swim upright and wrap their tails around plants for balance. Since they don’t have a stomach, they have to eat almost nonstop. Hahahh, there are even fish that literally live buried in the sand. Why is everyone around this tank? Now I understand. There’s an enormous fish floating. Interesting. If you’re staying at Atlantis, make sure to visit this aquarium. It’s absolutely worth it. And it’s free of charge. At the end of the tour, there’s a souvenir shop filled with ocean-themed items. You’ll find toys, clothes, magnets, postcards, jewelry, seashell decorations, art prints and keychains. There are also dolphins and turtles featured on many products. Atlantis T-shirts for kids with a smiling dolphin on it. You can explore the entire aquarium in about 30 minutes, without rushing. Really enjoyed this experience! Back outside we are waiting for the Atlantis buggy shuttle. Both the Waterpark and The Lost Chambers were incredible. ANYWAYS.. Before checking out of the hotel, I’ll take you on a short walk through the ground floor to get a final look at some of the remaining facilities. There are a few cafés along the way. Alkemy, a luxury barber shop and nail salon. At the far end of the hotel, you’ll find the wellness area which includes the gym and spa. AWAKEN Spa reception and small shop. They sell AWAKEN products and others.
Scrubs, body lotions, oils, scented candles. Some yukatas, clothes and silky scarves. Perfumes, room mists. Decorative stones as souvenirs. Videography is prohibited inside the spa so unfortunately, this is all that I can show you. Fitness area is spacious. Yoga and pilates studio for the classes. The gym is well equipped with both cardio and strength-training machines. We’ve just checked out from Atlantis but we can still use the facilities and enjoy the evening cocktail at the lounge. We can order pesto risotto. Grilled asparagus, mushrooms, cold salads.
Root and leaves salad. Pumpkin hummus is quite rare. Meat rolls. Blinis, sour cream and chives. Smoked sturgeon and caviar. Truffles and wild mushroom quiche. Wasabi, soy sauce and pickled ginger for the sashimi. Salmon and gravlax. Sides like pickled onions, horseradish creme. Pistachio raspberry & rose tart. Citrus pound cake. Honey cake. Tiramisu and exotic cheesecake. Chocolate and biscuits. Bokaj cashew. Truffle butter with bread. Selection of jams and other spreads. Grapes and figs with premium honey. Wide variety of cheese. Beef wagyu. Olives and mini cucumber pickles. Nuts. The food from the evening cocktail looks incredible. I’ll have a plate with some cold dishes and some fruits. Healthy salads. This is the risotto. It has a beautiful plating. I wanted to try a variety of small sweets. Watermelon. I really love the food from the club lounges. Thank you for the food. We really enjoyed our stay at Atlantis The Royal. Everything about this place feels extraordinary from the futuristic design to the incredible service.
