【東京ベーカリー8選】2025年”食欲の秋”!今訪れたい東京のパン屋さんを厳選!都内の名店をここで体験!
Hello, this is Mikki. This time, I’m introducing 8 Tokyo bakeries for the “Autumn of Appetite” in 2025. As you walk around the city enjoying the pleasant weather, you’ll instantly catch the aroma of fragrant bread. In 2025, Tokyo will see a flurry of new stores opening that bread lovers will love. While popular bakeries are popping up in major terminals like Shinjuku and Tokyo Station, unique bakeries beloved by locals are popping up one after another on street corners like Shimotakaido, Akasaka, and Azabu-Juban. Each and every item is imbued with the passion of the maker and the refined sensibility that is so characteristic of Tokyo. Be sure to find your favorite among these stores. This channel brings you information to enrich your daily life, such as cafe hopping. If you’d like to support us, please subscribe and don’t miss the next video. By the way, you can check the Google Maps location of the stores introduced this time in the description of this video, so please use it as a reference when you actually visit the store. First, we’ll introduce TRUFFLE Bakery’s Lumine Shinjuku store, which opened in June 2025. TRUFFLE, which opened in Monzen-Nakacho, Tokyo in 2017, Bakery I’ve actually introduced this on my channel, but the unique combination of the luxury ingredient truffle and everyday bread has been popular, and since opening, the store has expanded at a rapid pace. I would like you to check out the Monzen-Nakacho store in my past videos. Now, the Lumine Shinjuku store of Truffle Bakery is in a great location directly connected to JR Shinjuku Station, and boasts a spacious 63-seater space. It’s the first cafe in the Kanto region, and I have a feeling it will become even more popular. When I say “first in Kanto,” I immediately thought of Truffle Bakery in Esconfield, which I previously introduced in my Hokkaido video. It also has a different and attractive atmosphere, so I think it would be good to take a look for reference. Now, in this store, the Truffle Bakery shines brightly in the large entrance . Under the Bakery logo, the shop has bright wood-grain tables and chairs , orange-based fabric lighting, and uplifting artwork on the walls, creating a sense of attention to detail in both the exterior and interior. When you step inside, you ‘ll see rows of freshly baked bread. You order your bread first before taking a seat. The truffle salt bread, which is also the name of the shop, has a lovely buttery aroma that tickles your nose. CEO Maruoka-san was born into a dairy wholesaler’s family. After graduating from high school, he worked for an Italian cheese import company for four years, and founded the company at the age of 30 with the desire to make European ingredients more accessible to people . Their discerning eye for delicious ingredients is a given. The signature menu item is the salted truffle bread. I’ve ordered it before, and it was just as delicious. On the other hand, some reviews said that the Shinjuku store’s bread tastes a little worse, so I recommend you try it for yourself and see if the reviews are true. It certainly felt a little less freshly baked . Another thing that caught my eye was that they serve iced coffee and hot coffee using a tap-type coffee machine, which is fun because you can pour the coffee yourself . It was served in a similar style at a store called O , so this way of serving bread felt fresh to me. Of course, there are other menu items besides the salted bread you see here that are worth checking out, so I definitely recommend you go and check them out! Next up, I’d like to introduce BOUL’ANGE, an authentic French bakery that is close to everyday life . Its new base, the BOUL’ANGE Shinjuku store, is a bakery that just opened in September 2025 along Shinjuku Street in Tokyo . It is a completely new style of bakery, and it was born in a different location and at different hours than the Shinjuku Southern Terrace store, which is close to Shinjuku Station, and is a base that can reach a wider range of people. Since BOUL’ANGE was launched as an original bakery by Baycrews in 2017, they have been proposing colorful breads made with carefully selected flours and seasonal ingredients from around the world. Two representative breads are the pain de mie “Beurre”, which is made for toasting, and the pain de mie “Ange”, which is perfect for eating raw. These two types of bread are featured. This time, I visited BOUL’ANGE before it opened and fully experienced its charm. In particular, BOUL’ANGE Highlights of the Shinjuku store include the spherical croissant “◯,” the cube-shaped croissant “□,” and the pyramid-shaped croissant “△.” You can enjoy these beautiful croissants . This store opened with a spacious floor space of approximately 55.45 tsubo (approx. 180.5 m2). It is primarily a takeout store, but there are a few seats outside where you can sit down, so it might be a good place to stop by for a quick break. As this area is particularly busy along Shinjuku Street, it’s perfect for takeout when you’re short on time , or as a small treat after work to enjoy at home. Because of its location, the exterior display is sure to attract the attention of passersby. It’s expected that they will introduce limited edition products and promote the store at different times of the day, taking advantage of the location . The store’s operating company, Baycrews, is a fashion brand. JOURNAL Because they also handle STANDARD, the display method is similar to that of a fashion exhibit. The beautiful display method also shows the ingenuity of not just a restaurant. As you can see, at the BOUL’ANGE Shinjuku store, you can watch the typical toast being made, as well as the various breads being made, so you can purchase bread that interests you while checking out the attention to detail in the workshop. Now, this is the toast-specific pain de mie that I introduced earlier. It has a very soft texture. The rich aroma of the freshly baked bread was outstanding. And here is their signature croissant. By making the number of layers a little less, the croissant is packed with the attention to detail that allows the butter to sizzle. Although the store primarily caters to takeout, they also sell drinks, so if you order a drink and take it out, you can enjoy it with your bread. Next up is the Supignold baguette. It’s baked using the special Supignold flour, concentrating the richness, sweetness, and aroma of wheat. And here ‘s the onion and bacon croissant, which we saw earlier. It’s not only appealing as a croissant, but the addition of bacon makes it a delicious side dish that can also be enjoyed as a light lunch. Next up is the sourdough. This is a full-sized croissant, but half-sized versions are also available, with a crispy or chewy texture. It has a light, foamy texture, so I highly recommend trying it. They also have a rye sourdough so you can choose the one that best suits your taste. This is the cafe latte I had for a drink. It’s a medium size, just over 800 yen , so it’s a little pricey, but they’re also particular about the coffee, so even coffee lovers will enjoy it. Among the many breads on offer , today I had the Marble Croissant “⬜︎” and the Marble Croissant “◯” as well as the juicy croissant. The spherical croissant is a round croissant with beautiful layers all around. Please note that it will roll even if you place it on a plate. The cube-shaped croissant is coated in sugar and formed into a cube. While enjoying these beautifully presented breads, please experience BOUL’ANGE. Next, we’ll be heading to eun from Shimotakaido along the Keio Line. Introducing Bakery: This Korean-style bagel specialty shop opened in December 2024. It’s located along the shopping street, just a 3-minute walk from Shimotakaido Station, and is so popular that there’s a line before opening every day. Based on authentic Korean recipes , they offer one-of- a-kind , chewy and heavy bagels . They mainly do takeout, but their cute packaging makes them perfect for gifts. They have a wide selection of items , from sweets to savory treats, so you can enjoy them for breakfast, lunch, or any occasion . From their varied menu, we tried the summer-only sandwich bagel and some of the daily regular menu items, as shown here. The shop staff kindly invited us to take photos 30 minutes before opening , but there were already customers lined up, proving how popular they are. On particularly popular days, they can sell out in about an hour, so if you really want to buy some, we recommend visiting right before opening time. Now, what I’m showing you now is the sandwich bagel that I mentioned earlier, which was only available during the summer. It tastes just like a fruit sandwich, and the texture and flavor are outstanding. This shop has a purchase limit of 7 bagels per person. Also, the store only allows a maximum of 3 groups, so it might be best to limit the number of people when visiting . They also gave me some tips on how to enjoy the bagels, such as heating them in the microwave for about 30 seconds, and how to store them at room temperature for 1 day, and if frozen, they can be stored for 2 weeks. So, bagel lovers, it might be a good idea to buy the maximum of 7 and enjoy them while they last. However, since these sandwich bagels are only available during the summer, the storage method is different, so if you have the opportunity to purchase one, it might be best to ask a staff member separately. On this day, we visited as a group of 2 and ordered a total of 9 items. First, there are the regular savory bagels and the sweet ones . We have potato bagel, potato cheese bagel, olive cheese bagel, and the summer-only peach yogurt sandwich, blueberry yogurt sandwich, summer tropical sandwich, chocolate banana sandwich , and the plane sandwich . They were all delicious and hearty , but the portions were too much for two people to eat, so we ended up having one for lunch and another for dinner . They keep well, so it might be a good idea to buy them wisely. Next up is the NEW NEW YORK CLUB THE BAGLE CAFE AND BEER from Tameike-sanno. STAND is a New York-style bagel cafe and beer stand located near Tameike-sanno Station that just opened in March 2025. They actually have a store in Azabu-Juban, but that is takeout only . This store has an eat-in space, so you can enjoy it at a more leisurely pace. There are counter seats with power outlets inside, so it seems like it could be used for work or to get some work done. The American-style atmosphere, with music playing from heavy speakers, makes for a great place to start your day. The clientele is mostly foreigners, and the open atmosphere gives it a foreign feel in a good way. The sound might be a bit loud, which might bother some, but for those who don’t mind, it’s a great place to enjoy some solitude or a good book. On the other hand, the lively atmosphere also makes it a great place to come with a group and have a conversation without being bothered by other people’s conversations. I highly recommend this store. As you can see, they have a wide selection of bagels. The bagels are fragrant and chewy, and even plain ones are delicious enough to fully enjoy the flavor of the ingredients. Also, since it’s in a business district, there are surprisingly many seats available on weekends, so I recommend it. They also accept mobile orders and offer takeaway, so bagel lovers might want to buy one and enjoy it at home. I visited for lunch this time, so I didn’t drink, but they had a wide selection of craft beers, so it might be nice to have a drink in the evening . They’re open until 10:00. Here’s the Bagles & Appetizers Set, which is only available on weekends and holidays. It’s priced at 4,400 yen. While they say weekends are a hidden gem, they offer this special set, so it might be a good idea to visit on a weekend for a bit. This substantial set includes thick, chewy, and fragrant authentic New York bagels , as well as appetizers. On this day, we were able to enjoy onion, sesame, and blueberry rainbow bagels. As you can probably tell from the price, it’s quite filling, so this set might be best enjoyed with two or more people. The appetizers, including smoked salmon, cream cheese, and fresh vegetables, are a perfect accompaniment to the bagels. It was also fun to create your own bagel sandwich with these appetizers. The portions of the appetizers were quite generous, so we used them generously on the bagels to consume them. Of course , the bagels themselves are delicious, so if you can’t finish them all, you can have them as an appetizer on their own. This store is completely cashless, so cash is not accepted. Please prepare a cashless payment before visiting. They open from 8am, so it’s great for morning activities. As mentioned earlier , they’re open until 10pm, so you can also enjoy them as a beer stand to enjoy craft beer. By the way, bagels and cafe menus are available until 5pm. You can enjoy bagels for takeout until closing time , but if you want to eat in, make sure to visit by 5pm. Next, we’ll move a little further to Azabu-Juban and take a look at d’une rarete. Introducing the Azabu Juban store. This bakery and cafe blends seamlessly into the calm streets of Azabu Juban, exuding a Parisian atmosphere . From the selection of ingredients to the baking process, they make no compromises, and their bread is designed to add something special to your everyday life, satisfying all five senses. As you can see, the interior is a sophisticated space, and there is also an eat -in area, perfect for breakfast, a light lunch, or a coffee break. You can relax and enjoy the fragrant aroma of freshly baked bread. There is also terrace seating, so it’s a great place to bring your dog. The weather wasn’t great this time, but on a sunny day, the sunlight streamed in, making for a wonderful morning. Yes, we are open from 9:30am from Monday to Thursday, but from 8:30am on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays , so it’s a great place to start your morning routine. This store was actually relocated from its main Aoyama store in December 2024 and opened. We value individuality and non-individuality, the original aroma and flavor of the ingredients, and all of our dough and ingredients are additive-free, ensuring safety and security. We have inherited the reliable techniques and sensibilities we built in Aoyama before the relocation in Azabu Juban. We aim to be a store loved by locals by incorporating new elements while making use of the existing architectural beauty. Now, the breads you see in the picture are all made with natural wheat, salt, yeast , and butter and flour carefully selected from all over Japan. The bread is baked daily and the selection includes croissants, baguettes, and Danish pastries, all of which are carefully handcrafted. This time, we focused on bread, but they also have a wide selection of sandwiches, sweets, and drinks, so it’s a great place for lunch on days when you don’t have much time. By the way, they also have power outlets and free Wi-Fi, so it might be a good place for work. However, please note that the tables aren’t that big . They also have seasonal menus and many popular menu items, so I’ll keep checking their Instagram. Get the latest information! Now, let me introduce a number of our menu items. First, what you see in the background is Milk Brunon Caffeine and Peach Americano. This is probably a seasonal menu item, so please enjoy it as soon as possible. Now, this is a mushroom soup and bread platter. The rich mushroom soup with a mellow aroma was impressive with its smooth texture and deep flavor. I would definitely recommend trying it with bread. We also ordered a minestrone and bread platter. This was a warm minestrone with plenty of vegetables and a bread platter. Next was fromage and croissants. We had the fromage, which combined the richness of the saucisson cheese with the aroma of the bread dough, and the croissant , which allowed us to enjoy the crispness of the sausage and shiso leaves. Here we have the cinnamon roll and the Pan Swiss. We also had the cinnamon roll, made with a special cinnamon paste with a cardamom aroma, and the staff’s number one favorite, the Pan Swiss . The Pan Swiss was filled with sweet cream and chocolate, and I especially recommend the freshly baked version. Both dishes were carefully made, and it made me want to try their other breads. We also ordered the Mentaiko French Bread and the Melon Bread . The Mentaiko French Bread was accented with shiso leaves, and the crispy melon bread was also exceptionally delicious. Please try the various menu items . Next, we will introduce Cafe 365 Days and Coffee, run by 365 Days, a popular natural bakery in Yoyogi Park . NEWoMan Takanawa is said to be the largest commercial facility in the Lumine Market. Located in NEWoMan Takanawa, it is a space that can be enjoyed between commuting and shopping. I love the Ultra Kitchen chain, which operates 365 days a year, and have introduced them in our previous bakery specials, as well as in our Nihonbashi special. I am very happy that such a store can be enjoyed at Takanawa Gateway. Personally, I like Juunibun Bakery in Sangenjaya and Bipedal Walking. I like Coffee Roasters , so if you’re interested, you might want to visit. This bakery and cafe, which I also love, offers bread, coffee, and sweets. It offers a space and time for you to fully appreciate your food. You can also purchase the same specialty coffee beans that you can find at Nisoku-Hokkou, which I mentioned earlier. If you’re a coffee lover, you can enjoy the cafe menu here and, if you find a bean you like, you might want to buy some for home. The concept of the cafe is to listen to the voices of food. The menu, which is appropriate for this concept, is carefully curated by the owner, Mr. Sugikubo. For example, you can enjoy bread made with carefully selected ingredients and aromatic coffee. They use domestic wheat and fresh vegetables and fruits from contracted farmers, and everything from dried apples and dried tomatoes to curry, cream, sauces, ham, and bacon, all handmade. You can also enjoy their own roasted coffee, carefully selected for its origin and roasting method. The modern and open space blends seamlessly into the NEWoMAN Takanawa , with a simple and warm design that evokes the warmth of wood. The various breads displayed in the glass cases are eye-catching . There are counter seats and table seats, making it perfect for solo diners or chatting with friends. The seats are a little close together, so it might be a good idea to get takeout and sit somewhere in Takanawa Gateway City . As you can see, they have a wide selection of breads, from savory to sweet. Many of the breads are beautifully presented and small in size, so it’s a great place to buy a variety and enjoy a little at a time. You can also buy several types and share them with multiple people , so you can enjoy the flavors in multiple ways. Please consider this option. This shop also sells cakes, so it might be enough to just visit for coffee time and enjoy them with the specialty coffee I introduced earlier . After enjoying the cake and coffee, it might be a good idea to buy some bread as a souvenir. As this is a specialty coffee shop, there are various ways to drink coffee, so please enjoy your coffee in your preferred style. On this day, I ordered three types of bread and a cafe latte. First, I ordered the croquant from the back. Next up is the baked treat, which combines the richness of chocolate with a crispy texture. On the left is the baked banana and almond toast, a dessert toast that combines the sweetness of baked bananas with the flavor of almonds. And on the right is the 365 Days x Maruni Ham sausage dog, a signature dish featuring a juicy Maruni Ham sausage sandwiched between 365 Days’ special bread. It ‘s said to be a popular menu item and a signature dish . Next up is GINZA NISHIKAWA COFFEE ROASTERY, a new coffee and bread mecca born in Ginza . Enjoy a luxurious moment savored with all five senses, combining premium bread and specialty coffee. GINZA NISHIKAWA COFFEE ROASTERY is scheduled to open in March 2025 in a corner of Ginza, where famous landmarks like the Kabukiza Theater and Wako are located. Ginza Nishikawa, which sparked a nationwide boom in premium bread, is now introducing a new type of cafe called GINZA NISHIKAWA. NISHIKAWA COFFEE ROASTERY is a shop where you can enjoy the marriage of specialty coffee and carefully baked bread , while maintaining the same commitment to water that has been cultivated as a bread specialty shop. The fluffy, juicy texture of the bread and the mellow aroma of coffee, along with the red glowing siphon lamp in front of you, will calm your mind and help you forget the hustle and bustle of Ginza. Originally known for its bread that is particular about water , this cafe was born from Nishikawa’s desire to expand the ways in which bread can be enjoyed while making use of the strengths of the company. The cafe uses its own developed alkaline ionized water, which is the highest quality water from Canada. The shop brings out the flavor of ingredients such as wheat , domestic butter, fresh cream, and honey , creating a sweet and elegant aftertaste. It also proposes a new style of dining experience where you can experience the charm of the bread itself with the coffee, using all five senses. The interior of the shop is designed with an inorganic taste, and the clean design is comfortable and gives off a somewhat gallery-like impression. The first floor has a limited number of sofa seats, while the second floor also has table seats. As we saw earlier, the drip coffee, which is extracted using a siphon method using high-quality coffee beans roasted in-house, is said to be excellent. GINZA On this day at Nishikawa, I had a cafe latte and salted butter bread. I mentioned their siphon drip coffee earlier , but the cafe latte was also delicious. The salted butter bread I paired with it had a light, fluffy texture and a rich, salted butter flavor that spread throughout the mouth . It wasn’t too sweet, making it a versatile item that could be enjoyed as both a meal or a snack. On the other hand, the cafe latte paired perfectly with the bread, which had a rich coffee flavor and a gentle milky taste. They also offer a sweeter bread, so pairing it with a drip coffee like the one I mentioned earlier might be a good idea. Next up is POINT ET LIGNE Tokyo Midtown Yaesu. POINT ET LIGNE opened on the first floor of Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, directly connected to Tokyo Station, in March 2023. It’s the first store in Shin-Maru Building and is a bakery and restaurant that combines the deliciousness of bread with the charm of wood-fired cooking. We’ve introduced the second store at KANDA SQUARE in previous videos, but this is the long-awaited third store. It ‘s a multi-faceted establishment that can be enjoyed as a cafe, restaurant, or even a bakery you can just drop in to . The interior is an open space with natural light streaming in from three sides, and the chic and calm interior, made with Italian tufa stone, old timber, and black iron, is boldly accented with hot pink walls. No matter where you look, the picturesque space is perfect not only for lunch or dinner, but also for cafe time. Speaking of POINT ET LIGNE, it’s their fragrant hard bread, made with organic ingredients, wheat, nuts, dried fruit, and of course, no preservatives, additives, or eggs. The bread is baked using a unique method that suits the Japanese climate, resulting in a moist and chewy texture without being dry, and it has many fans. So, this time I visited POINT ET LIGNE for dinner and had the à la carte menu. The charm of LIGNE is not only the food, but also the drinks are packed with attention to detail. In addition to the beer shown here, you can enjoy over 100 types of wine carefully selected by the sommelier. There is also an all-you-can-drink option with over 20 types of wine, so if you are good at alcohol, you might want to order that . First, we ordered the classic all-you-can-eat bread, which was accompanied by homemade whipped butter, which went perfectly with it. The bread was served warm, and the moist and chewy texture was combined with the smooth flavor and rich whipped butter . You can also get more bread by taking this baguette yourself. We ordered a variety of other dishes in addition to bread. First, we had a platter of Italian prosciutto and salami. We were able to luxuriously experience the charm of the salami and prosciutto. We will gradually introduce various main dishes from now on . The main attraction of this restaurant is its wood-fire cooking. The warmth of the fire and far infrared rays bring out the flavor of the ingredients, and all of the dishes are fragrant, powerful, yet delicate. They are a reliable choice for days when you want a hearty meal or just a light snack. This is the menu for roast beef from domestic beef aitchbone with aged fruit soy sauce. Next is today’s fresh fish, wood-fire grilled beurre noisette and shiso pistou. The price of today’s fresh fish varies depending on when you visit, so please ask the staff before ordering. It was presented on a luxurious plate, and just looking at it made me feel excited. And finally, the impressive Iwanaka pork. 500g of bone-in loin meat. 500g means it would be quite filling, but it was surprisingly easy to eat. It looked beautiful, and each dish was packed with aroma and flavor. I was truly impressed by how wood-fired cooking can change anything. That’s all for today’s bakery feature. In the after-talk, I’d like to ask you about the bread you can’t help but order. Before that, let’s start with a wrap-up. Most of the shops I’ve introduced this time were established in 2025, and there are probably many stores that you haven’t heard of. The good thing about bakery cafes is that you can also enjoy takeout . I hope you will visit when you don’t have much time and try your favorite bread. Now, let’s move on to the after-talk, which is the theme: What bread do you can’t help but order? I also loved melon bread when I was a child, but as I’ve grown older, I’ve learned about various types of bread and my favorite breads have changed. I especially love sweet bean paste and butter. Speaking of sandwiches and side dishes, I love mentaiko French bread. I currently live near Soshigaya-Okura Station, so I often buy bread from the nearby Sainte-Lite , and I also love their mentaiko French bread. I’ve featured them in bakery specials in the past, so I hope you’ll take a look at that too. I also love the salted bread offered at Truffle Bakery, which I introduced this time, and I’ll buy it whenever I come across it, not just at Truffle Bakery. Other than that, I basically choose the most popular bread, No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3, as written on the bakery website , and order from there, but I think the classics are the bean paste butter sandwiches and mentaiko French breads I mentioned earlier . Of course, everyone has their own preferences, and if you know of any other breads that have such a deep appeal, please let me know in the comments. I’d like to expand my repertoire , so I hope this will help me. That’s all from Mikki . Thank you.
