Today, I would like to introduce a menu that does not use fire and is easy to make even on hot days. Hawaiian salad, Lomi Lomi salmon. Lomi Lomi also means massage in Hawaiian. Make diced tomatoes, onions and salmon by kneading them well with vinegar, lemon and salt. Plenty of fresh vegetables and lemon acidity for a refreshing fruity taste. When using salmon for sashimi, water will come out, so sprinkle salt and leave it for a while. This step is not necessary when using smoked salmon. Next, chop. Cut all the ingredients into cubes. First, prepare the salmon. If you use smoked salmon, skip this step. Please move on to the next step. When using sashimi salmon, sprinkle salt on both sides. Wrap it in thick kitchen paper to absorb the water that comes out. Wrap it in a plastic bag or wrap and leave it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Let’s cut the vegetables. Finely chop the new onions. This time I will use it as it is. If you are concerned about the spiciness of onions, soak them in water. Celery uses the stem part. If there is a streak, remove it, cut it into 4 equal parts, and cut it into 1 cm cubes. The same is true for cucumber. Cut it vertically and cut it into cubes of about 1 cm. I cut it into small cubes, but cut it to the size you like. The same is true for tomatoes. Use 1/2 pieces. Slice it to a width of 1 cm, remove the core, and cut into cubes. Peel the yellow kiwi. Salmon and kiwi go very well, so if you don’t like it, please add it. It’s fruity and very delicious. Peel and diced to similar size. Make sure all ingredients are about the same size and quantity. Let’s move it to a bowl. Use a bowl that is not made of metal. If the onion is exposed to water, drain it and add it. Take out the chilled salmon. Moisture has drained a little and it is tight. Cut salmon to the same size as other vegetables. Add to the bowl. Let’s squeeze the lemon. The refreshing and fruity acidity of lemon juice goes well with Lomi-lomi salmon. You can use apple cider vinegar or wine vinegar if you like. Add salt and squeezed lemon juice to the bowl. Let’s apply it evenly. I’ll leave it here for a while and marinated it. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for about an hour. This is one hour later. Moisture is coming out of the ingredients. Drain the water that comes out. Take it in a colander, drain it, and put it back in the bowl. The last is avocado. Avocado has a bad color, so add it last. Use 1/2 pieces. Put a knife vertically and divide it in two. Take the seeds, peel and cut into the same size as the other ingredients. Avocado that is not too hard is suitable because it is used for salads. Let’s move it to a bowl. The avocados are stuck together, so peel them off and mix them roughly. Finally add olive oil. Mix it and you’re done.
