悪名高いエルヴィスサンドイッチの味はどんな感じでしょうか?

this is the infamous Elvis Presley sandwich it’s a peanut butter banana and bacon sandwich stacked in between perfectly toasted bread it’s got that sweet and salty taste and feels kind of rich but overall it’s pretty good and looks like something you’d make if you had massive Cravings or were hungover and to balance it all out we got the cobb salad because we all know that fiber is very important

Elvis was quite the mythical figure and that myth continued even to his favourite foods. He had a reported fondness for peanut butter and banana sandwiches and one of his supposed favourites is a heart-stopping sandwich filled with peanut butter, caramelised banana, and bacon.

Local favourite sandwich joint Pastra & Rye did a limited run of this iconic sandwich and we obviously had to try!

Enjoy!

  1. The sandwich is actually very good.
Just dont eat them too often.
I make them at home in my ole Kentucky made
    cast iron pan.
Just as a treat once or twice a year in the winter months.

  2. Well they should have put him into the jail house for this crime to humanity. That looks so horrible, like it was invented in England.

  3. This isn't even the worst thing elvis ate, one of his favorite things, especially in his later years, was miners loaf. For those who don't know what that is it's an uncut loaf of bread that is hollowed out, stuffed with a jar of peanut butter, jelly, and a full pou d of bacon, resealed, and deep fried. A single loaf could be upwards of 10,000 calories and elvis would eat more than 1 🤮

  4. Why are you dumb asses putting bacon on that sandwich. Damn Elvis is talking shit about y'all destroying his sandwich

  5. It's not bad, it's kind of like Deep Fried Twinkies, a tasty treat to have every once in awhile for the novelty, but I wouldn't recommend it every day.
