I’ve made porridge for breakfast for at least 5 years of my life, not realizing there was a much better alternative out there!
If you want to save time in the morning and integrate some healthy food into your diet, then look no further than overnight oats. It’s great because you can customize it based on the time of year, and what fruit you like best.
Recipe:
(Use 1/4 cup for small portion, 1/3 cup for medium and 1/2 cup for large):
– 1/2 cup of organic jumbo oats
– 1/2 cup of milk (any type is fine)
– 1/2 cup of greek yoghurt
– 1 to 2 tablespoons of kefir
Toppings (choose whatever you like!):
– Frozen blueberries
– Frozen raspberries
– 1/2 a passion fruit
– 1/2 a kiwi
– Mixed seeds
– Mixed nuts (pre-chopped is better IMO)

I should also mention that you can batch-prepare overnight oats. E.g. if there are more of you in the house, you could add all portions into a bowl the night before and then portion it out in the morning.
