I find these videos calming and enlightening culturally because I've never been to Japan, so there is much that is different from my life in the UK. I am also fascinated with how they most often include a few seconds of footage of random cats at the end. I wonder if it is usual not to have a pet and that is why cat cafés are all the rage in Japan. I love having cats to live with, and would be unhappy without them.
