Yeehaw! Welcome back to the Southern Snack, where laugh is too short to be serious. All right, folks. We are doing a banana coffee menu hack, whatever you want to call it. Banana coffee hack. Uh, three Starbucks beverages. $25 on these three drinks. But hey, you know what? We’ve just been blowing money at Starbucks, having a good old time. So, just let me let me live, right? Not the greatest thumbnail, but we’ll roll with it. All right, so what we got? We’re going to start with the most basic one. This is just a cold brew with banana protein. So, this really gives us a look at what we’re tasting in this foam, right? I did not think there was much of anything that came from this when uh we tried it on the matcha. And this coffee is going to have us get that re-evaluation that we’ve been dying to have. So, let’s do it. A little bit of acidic undertone, but I’m liking it a lot more. Maybe the matcha was a bit heavy, but here as the banana hits my tongue and the coffee isn’t quite quite, you know, as strong, right? The cold brew is like you got that that coffee burst, but it’s not, you know, it’s not bringing these earth earthy notes, these, you know, grounded flavors of matcha and his coffee. Maybe the acidicness is the coffee in there. It’s not bad. You do get a nice touch of sweetness. Um the banana flavor comes through well. It’s natural. It’s not artificial. And I think that’s why why it’s not like super sweet. It’s very creamy. Banana cream coffee combination. I wouldn’t say it’s anything to go crazy about, especially with the price, but um honestly, seven, it’s not bad. It’s good, but just just a touch banana and you know it it’s just like if you ate a banana alongside I don’t know like a vanilla cold foam coffee cuz it’s not it wouldn’t just be eating a banana and drinking coffee. You’d have to have that cream somewhere. So I think definitely like if you were drinking a coffee with like some vanilla cold foam and have banana I mean I think you get the same result. Plus I guess a banana is probably less than the price of the subch charge. So, it’s up to you what you want to do. But now, I’ve got some interesting hacks. So, let me just grab the two drinks so the drink holder doesn’t fall. Um, we’re going to go to banana pudding. This is again my hacks. Um, not Starbucks, even though I’m sure they’ll come up with one of these some as long as they keep banana. But banana pudding. Basically, it took a vanilla blonde espresso. I didn’t see where they just had a regular vanilla latte and I wasn’t feeling like getting a regular latte, adding vanilla syrup to pay even more. Just go ahead, get the blonde espresso. Maybe you’ll get a little bit of, you know, a little bit of like a buttery, you know, blonde espresso. You know, the blonde, I feel like it can get it close to banana pudding, right? So, of course, banana foam vanilla. Let’s get to it. Oddly enough, I can taste the protein a bit more in this one. And they say you can’t taste the protein. You can. It’s got a distinct taste. Not quite as good as banana pudding. Like I think banana pudding is a little bit sweeter, a little bit Uh more punch on the banana. It’s very mellow. But I can see where I’m going with that. Right. It’s smooth. Little touch of banana. Imagine like a banana pudding, but they put in very few bananas. That’s what I’m thinking here. I just think I like the uh the cold brew better. I’m going to give that a six. All right, last one is brown sugar shake and espresso with banana. What is it going to be called? Banana bread. We’re going for banana bread here. So, let’s see. Little stark on the cinnamon there. I don’t know why they put so much cinnamon. again. I want a banana. But again, I it it comes you you can definitely get this like sense of presence here. I’mma also give this a six. I think it would have been better, but it’s just so I I like my normal shaking espresso. It’s never that sharp on the cinnamon. They really I don’t know what they were doing with this one because usually is just a little bit more smooth, a little bit more brown sugar heavy. Um, yeah, but I I give it a six. I mean, again, it’s echoes. It reminisces, but it it just it’s not trying hard enough. And the banana is is just slightly there. So, yeah. Uh Starbucks, I would like you to re-evaluate your banana flavor here and maybe introduce it as a non protein option. Like get rid of the protein and keep the banana banana. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this review and I’m a little disappointed and shocked that the winner of the three was the most simplistic. Anyways, other than that, I’ll see y’all around.

  1. Honestly, I don’t think ppl realize that they get enough protein during the day! They don’t have to add protein to everything. If you eat some meat with your dinner & etc, just normal stuff, then you get enough. Just my take. Now Starbucks has joined the trend.
