Grandma’s Monkey Bread Recipe! 😋
This recipe is simple, delicious, and perfect for kids and grandkids to participate! 🧑🍳 (BTW my grandson was convinced store bought was better — until he tasted what we made! 😁)
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup sugar
2 TBL cinnamon
3 cans refrigerator biscuits
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick of butter
Preheat oven to 350. Sprinkle pecans in bottom of greased bundt pan. Combine sugar and cinnamon in shallow dish. Cut biscuits into quarters, roll into balls, then coat with cinnamon/sugar mixture, and drop into Bundt pan. Stir together butter and brown sugar over medium heat, then pour over donut balls. Bake for 35 minutes. Let it set 5-10 minutes before turning upside down onto plate. (Tip: I like to make the donut/cinnamon sugar balls the night before, cover & refrigerate, and then add sauce & bake the next morning.)
