マカロニパイは西インド諸島ではお弁当屋さんには必ずありますし、パーティ等があった時には必ず作られます。
パイと名前が付いていますがパイ生地を使って作っているわけではなく、要はマカロニチーズグラタンなのです。
ただ、アツアツで食べることはなく、付け合わせとかに向いていると思います。
Macaroni pie is always present in a lunch box in the West Indies, and is always made when there is a party.
It is named as pie, but it is not made using pie dough, but actually, it is macaroni cheese gratin.
