💌Synopsis: Xu Hongdou (Liu Yifei) went to Dali alone to rest and adjust because of the death of her best friend. There, she met Xie Zhiyao (Li Xian), a local who quit his high-paying job and returned to his hometown to start a business. Xu Hongdou and Xie Zhiyao fell in love with each other and eventually got together. In Dali, Xu Hongdou and the other people in the courtyard were moved by the hard work and resilience of the local villagers and their bitter and sweet lives. They re-examined the past and helped each other, sorted out their moods, and gained strength to start again.

YES!! FL doesn't have the dreaded baby voice!! We might do a group watch on this C-drama! Usually we skip all C-dramas because of the horrible voice overs on the actresses, or FL is written to be super helpless, useless and stupid!
Watched this Chinese drama a couple of yrs ago. It is wonderful, the story of a Chinese minorities, a beautiful community, lots of interesting characters and the two main characters are sublime. ❤
