Our Tahiti + Moorea honeymoon adventure continues! 🌺✨

Day 2 was jam-packed: from stingray encounters 🐠 to espresso shots at the dock ☕, a scenic ferry ride to Moorea, a deep tissue seashell massage, and a cultural Polynesian dinner + dance show—all wrapped up in the middle of a tropical storm 🌧️.

We kicked off our day early (maybe too early 😅) with a 40-minute ferry ride across stunning blue waters from Tahiti to Moorea. At the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa, we were welcomed with cold towels, pineapple juice 🍍, and leis before checking into a private bungalow with our very own plunge pool. Yes, it was as dreamy as it sounds.

We reviewed banana bread (that we forgot on the plane), tested out local snacks like gummy mango peelers and candied pecans, and powered up with espresso before our massage session. We tried the seashell massage, which surprised us in the best way—especially after 8 hours of international travel. 💆‍♂️💆‍♀️

Later in the day, we explored the resort, relaxed in our pool, and ended the night with a beautiful Polynesian buffet and traditional dance show under the stars. 🌌

But the fun didn’t stop there…
The next morning we were up bright and early for our first big excursion: Sea Scooters + Snorkeling with stingrays! It was wild. Between the wetsuit struggle, the underwater adventure, and the up-close moment with a massive stingray, we definitely started our Moorea stay with a bang. 🌊🐟

Then it POURED. Like… tropical storm pouring. So we grabbed mocktails during happy hour, snacked on more candy than we’ve eaten in months, and ended the day chillin’ in our bungalow while watching the rain and dodging mosquitos 😂🌧️
