Avocado Crema

This avocado crema is my favorite way to use up my browned avocados & stretch my grocery dollars a little further.

It’s great on tacos, eggs, or even just on toast for a super quick & easy breakfast.

1 avocado1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream *see noteJuice from 1/2 lime
1 handful of spinach
1 tsp salt, plus additional to taste
1 tsp cumin (optional)

*Note, yogurt/sour cream thickness varies greatly between brands. You may need to add a small splash of water to the mixture to get it moving in the blender or adjust the thickness at the end.

  1. I like this idea! I rarely buy avocados bc I've thrown out so many or suffer through the brown. This sounds delicious!

  2. Tried it, it's actually really good. At this stage, you can roast the avocado skins with butter to make an avocado infused butter/oil mixture that's really good with eggs, or throw it in a pot for a little bit of better flavor in vegetable stock.

Honest to God was terrified when I saw the color of that concoction😂 look like some radioactive shit that gives you superpowers if it was a '90s cartoon😂 Then I realized that he put fucking spinach in it and it made a little bit more sense but I still feel like he might have added some food color😅

  4. The filter on this video makes the sauce look neon green. I’d tone down the color enhancing, everything else is super cool and professional!❤
