  1. I loove yokan!! Didnt know it was so easy!! maybe the hard part is to find the ingredients.. thank yoouu!

  2. This couldn't have come at a better time, my uncle recently went to japan and he brought back some flavored bar…I'm not sure what they are, looks like a mini granola bar but mini balls instead of granola.the green tea one was awesome. anyway more candy for me, looks delicious. yay

  3. Is the red bean paste just regular paste from boiled anko (w/o skin) or has to be pushed through very fine strainer or ……

Also, with regards to the chestnuts, those you used are they comparable to those Taiwan dry type or taste is different?

  4. Hi! Namilko, your recipe and video look great! Can't wait to make one of your recipe 🙂
What camera do you use for the video and photos? I have a Japanese restaurant and want to integrate some of your recipe. Thank you for making this available for everyone!

  5. these look so much more appetizing than the store bought yokan. I didn't know that they are this easy to make. thanks for sharing.

  6. Can I use the whole 10g packet agar agar, do I need to add more water or other adjustment? Will it affects the end product? Thanks

  7. can i try this tonight my Japanese husband loves it , but i will use sweet potato , thank you , i never tried making this ..

  8. Not kidding but Super Sentai Carranger made me want to try it. In that the bad guys eat Yokan to grow giant and they're always buying it from the same stand. Except in that show the Yokan is pale so maybe sweet potato or peach? I wanna try this recipe.

  9. You have NO IDEA how long I've been waiting for this recipe . Please don't be offended, but I used to see it in so many animes and I always wondered what it was . I tried to describe it, when looking it up, but since the only visuals I had to go on were what I saw from those animes, I didn't know it it was a gelatin, a spread or a special kind of cheese . Thank you SO much for this . Now I finally know, not only WHAT it is, but how easy it is to prepare .
